Hey what's up guys, welcome back. Today I'm going to show you how to make a very easy and insanely delicious buffalo chicken wing recipe.
So first up, you're going to get a small saute pan on medium heat. Add a little bit of cold diced butter to it.
Followed by some chili flakes, garlic powder, some chili powder, and then you're going to add some sherry vinegar and brown sugar.
Reduce for about a minute or so. Then you're going to finish it off with some Frank's Original Red Hot Sauce.
Continue to cook the mixture for an additional 3-4 minutes until it gets really nice and sticky.
And that's going to be your hot wing glaze for the fried chicken.
Alright, so once your hot wing sauce is done, you're going to season some flour with Lowry's seasoning salt, some cumin, and some chili powder.
And then just finish it off with a pinch of salt.
Then you're going to toss your various chicken wings in the dredging mixture and just give it a good mix.
Just to make sure that the outside of the chicken is thoroughly coated in the seasoned flour.
Next, you're going to heat up a small sauce pot filled up halfway with canola oil to about 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
And fry these chicken wings for about 5-7 minutes until they get nice and golden brown.
Once they're done, you're going to pull them out and lay them on a baking tray that's lined with some dry paper towels.
Just to blot off any of that excess grease.
Once they're all fried up and on the baking tray ready to go, put them in a 400 degree oven for an additional 10-15 minutes.
Alright, so while the wings are crisping up in the oven, you're going to make a very simple aioli-like dipping sauce for your celery and your wings.
So in a small bowl or a little glass like I have here, you're going to add some whole grain mustard, mayo, sherry vinegar, some cilantro, and a pinch of salt with a little bit of Worcestershire sauce.
Give it a good mix and then put a nice bundle of picked celery inside the cup just for presentation purposes.
Once that's done and your chicken wings are crisped up and ready to go, put them into a mixing bowl.
Put a nice generous amount of that sauce right over the top, give them a good mix, and then just plate everything up.
Alright, there you guys have it. Some delicious, very easy to make, spicy buffalo wings that's perfect for a fun family get-together.
These smell incredible. The whole apartment smells like this really spicy glaze sauce with these buffalo wings.
Super excited to taste these, so let me dig in.
These are spicy.
Really spicy, has a nice peppery vibe going on, and I can taste some of the sweetness from the brown sugar.
These are absolutely delicious, but my mouth's on fire, so that's why I have these guys.
Nice little bite, refreshing bite after you have a nice spicy hot wing.
This is a good little, almost like palate cleanser.
So good.
The dip, it's almost kind of like ranch-esque because you have some of the mustard, that mayonnaise, cilantro, a little vinegar.
It's a really good little dipping sauce for celery, and you can use it to dip your buffalo wings in.
Really good.
These buffalo wings were absolutely fantastic. Nice and crispy, really good, solid recipe.
