Hey what's up everybody today I'm going to show you how to make some crispy and delicious
jalapeno poppers. So first up we're going to make our homemade bread crumbs. So in a food processor
throw some cilantro in there and some fresh white bread. You can use sourdough or any white bread
that you guys prefer and you're going to mix it on high speed just until it starts to break up.
Then you're going to put it onto a baking tray and in a 350 degree oven for about 10 to 15 minutes
just until it dries up. All right so while we're waiting for the bread crumbs to dry out we're
going to start preparing our jalapenos. So cut a T-like incision inside the jalapeno, spread it
apart and you're going to deseed it and devein it and this is going to take a lot of that spice
out of the chili otherwise it would be very very spicy. I know some of you probably could handle
that but sometimes the seeds and the veins are a little hard on the digestion so just remove those
and then we're going to stuff them with a mixture of mozzarella, jack cheese and swiss cheese.
You can use whatever variety of cheeses that you would want. Some people stuff them with
goat cheese or feta but like I said I'm going to be using some mozzarella, jack and swiss.
All right so once your bread crumbs are done drying out pull them out of the oven and just
loosely break them up just so you have a fine breading mixture and then you're going to set up
a very standard breading station with a little bit of seasoned flour that has some salt and pepper in
there and a milk and egg mixture with again a little bit of salt and pepper and you're going
to dip your jalapeno inside of the flour then in the egg and then you're going to coat it generously
with your dried out bread crumbs and then give it a good double dipping of the egg mixture
and then back into the bread crumbs just so you have a very thick and crispy coating of those
dried bread crumbs. All right so once you're done breading up all your jalapenos you're going to
grab a small pot fill it up halfway with some canola oil and then you're going to bring that
up to about 325 degrees fahrenheit. Throw a few of your breaded jalapenos inside the oil and you're
going to fry these up for about five to seven minutes just until they turn a beautiful golden
brown color then pull them out put them onto a baking tray lined with some paper towels just to
blot off any of that excess oil and then you're going to continue cooking them in a 350 degree
oven for an additional five to seven minutes just so that the jalapeno gets nice and tender and the
cheese inside gets wonderfully gooey and once that's done pull them out and that's it guys
all there is to do is enjoy these wonderful and deliciously spicy jalapeno poppers.
These look so good like oh they're just crispy and one thing I'm really excited about is to see
how spicy they are because you never can really tell how spicy a jalapeno is until you taste it
and I didn't do like a little sample of the raw jalapeno before I fried these so
I'm pretty excited to see how spicy they are and they look pretty crispy and amazing so there's
only one way of telling how amazing these are to taste it I guess I'll take this one's like the
prize all right there it goes oh yeah they got some heat I love jalapeno poppers well I gotta
take a picture of this the cheese oozing out looks so good well sometimes jalapenos can be really
spicy and almost overbearing obviously that's why you take the seeds out and the little veins out
otherwise this would be probably twice as spicy as it is right now be careful and I would definitely
recommend tasting a jalapeno raw before you fry it just to make sure that you can handle that spice
but these are perfect seriously just whip up a few of these have a nice little night it's a good
little appetizer for a meal or just have this you know at the end of your night as a little snack
watch a movie spice up your night well I'm really happy the way these turned out just this is a
really good little appetizer to have on hand aside from making the homemade bread crumbs which you can
buy at a store this took me about I don't know 20 minutes to throw together pretty simple little
snack so hopefully you guys enjoyed this video if you did please thumbs up subscribe and comment

time with another delicious recipe bye everybody
