Your tomato plants look healthy — big, green, leaves fine — but you're barely getting any fruit. Nine times out of ten the plant isn't the problem. The ground is.

In this video I mix the tomato feed I actually use. It costs about a dollar, takes five minutes, and it's three ingredients: water, molasses, and baker's yeast. That's it.

I'll also tell you which two ingredients I leave out of the popular version of this recipe, and why.

And at the end, what to honestly expect. It's not triple the size. Anybody telling you that is selling something.

🌱 THE RECIPE
1 gallon unchlorinated water, warmed to ~95°F
2 tbsp blackstrap molasses
1 tbsp baker's yeast, sprinkled on top, NOT stirred in
Cover with cloth (never a sealed lid), leave 8–12 hours, use within 2 days.
Apply every 2–3 weeks, on damp soil, in a ring ~6 inches out from the stem.

Get a soil test from your county extension office before you buy anything.
