Video Summary
AI GeneratedA traveler from Singapore visits Hemu Village and the Altay region in Xinjiang, China. The journey explores the surreal landscapes, traditional Tuvan log cabins, and the thrill of skiing at one of China's largest resorts, blending natural beauty with local culture and adrenaline-fueled activities.
Actually, in all of northern China, there is a magical, idyllic place,
located in the LTA region of Xinjiang, also known as God's Private Forest.
It also has China's largest ski resort area, with the best slopes and mountains for skiing in China.
This is better than drugs, don't take drugs.
This place has gotten a bit of buzz online lately, so I'm here to check it out,
and experience it for 8 days and 7 nights.
These are my friends, this is Haimu village.
Is this a dream? It doesn't feel real.
To get to Haimu village, I took a domestic flight.
From RMT airport to Khana's airport.
The view from the plane was out of this world.
Then it was another 2-hour drive from there to reach the village.
And I couldn't arrange transport.
So I could only pray for a driver waiting outside the arrivals.
Thank goodness, I got a private car for only about 22 US dollars.
Oh my god, this can't be real.
I feel like I'm on another planet right now.
Finally, I'm here at Haimu.
It was a long journey, but we made it.
And this place is straight out of a dream.
Such a vibe, so many dogs.
I can't wait to explore, but I'm also exhausted and starving.
So let me give you guys a quick tour.
This room is absolutely beautiful.
There are two stars together, but I'm here alone.
It looks so empty yet modern at the same time.
Here's the sink area by the door, and then the toilet and shower.
So, not too bad.
Pretty incredible, let's go check out the view.
So the first thing you'll notice besides the crazy views.
Is the sweetest, cutest doggos all around the area.
And just like that, my heart is stolen.
Tonight's dinner is chow mein and bao and some seriously potent sauce.
Good morning, I'm having breakfast.
The hotel sells a pretty basic breakfast.
There's bao, youtiao, eggs, peanuts, and milk tea.
I want to try the milk tea.
Super interesting, let's go.
So well preserved.
This is heaven.
All right, let's go.
Goodbye.
So in the Heimu area, one thing you'll notice is.
In a bit, there are all these covered cabins.
And these are the Tuvan houses.
Tuvan houses by the Tuvan people.
I don't know.
If there are any Tuvan families here.
Maybe a few.
This place is super commercialized.
Right now, there's KFC.
In a traditional area.
And there's.
Char K.
It's amazing, but.
Still very much.
Dreaming to see all these cabins.
They're mostly.
Built out of.
Fallen.
Logs from the forest.
And I think there are Tuvan cabins over 100 years old.
I don't know which one is which.
I'll just explore the whole area and take it all in.
And that's the Heimu bridge.
Across the bridge, there's an instant desk where you can get on a horse.
I did it another day.
And a weekend crowd here.
Really blew me away.
Look at the shape.
Too soft.
This is.
A.
Cool trip.
As you can see.
Oh my god.
There's a mountain.
There's a.
Forest shaped.
Land.
Oh my god, today is perfect.
There's a road.
To the side of the area.
Area.
I'm walking through a forest right now.
There's another bridge.
That's less crowded, so let's check it out.
In India here?
Am I in Finland or what?
This cupu cappuccino is the most expensive coffee I've ever paid for.
But all right, I'll give it to them.
It's so smooth and I can't.
No need to blame the view.
Then it's time to launch the Yuanjiang bridge.
What is this?
Am I in heaven or what?
Is this a dream?
It doesn't feel real.
It's time, my friends, it's time.
Look at this view.
Lights in the area turn on.
It's just magical.
But oh my god, I'm shivering.
Saya tidak terpapar kakap dengan anda sekarang.
Muka saya sejak, tangan saya sejak.
Marikita Mandangar.
Wah, saya terlalu lama cuba menggabungiman.
Lihat bahagian botol saya.
I a sejak sejak.
That's how cold it is, damn it.
All right, today is the day where we do what we came here to do.
Let's freaking do this.
So we are finally at Jikepulan Ski Resort.
This, my friends, is the largest, I think, the largest most epic ski resort in China.
Definitely for sure where there's good snow and mountains and everything.
Natural snow, not fake snow.
Look at the view.
Come on.
And forgive me.
Zero Q.
Zero Q for the gondola, that's a first for me.
And just from the gondola, I'm constantly blown away by how amazing the view is.
And how empty it is.
So up here on the mountain it's 2800 meters.
You can probably see three other countries from this view.
In front, that's Mongolia.
To the right, that's Russia.
And to the left, that's Kazakhstan.
I don't know how to say it.
Sprawled out everywhere.
Oh my god.
I think I need lessons.
So I found a team on Little Red Book.
What is she doing?
Oh my gosh, guess what I saw?
A little fox.
A little fox at the ski resort.
Yeah.
Go, go, go.
I've never done this before.
This is better than drugs, guys.
Don't take drugs.
Go back countries.
Kanapa Kamumula.
Mangajara Rangling.
Siamula Mangajardiri Sendiri.
Teaching others.
Me too.
If you see someone flourishing, you gain the ability.
Like me, I'm just learning from someone who's flourishing.
I think this is a very useful thing.
I can earn money with this work.
I can work well.
I can stand all month at the school.
Is this the best?
It's the work you love.
Yeah, it also lets you grow and develop.
Living work is the best.
It's the best job.
Yeah.
We have the work we love.
It's the best thing.
Yeah, it's the best thing.
So, goodbye.
No.
Every morning, it's a miracle.
The black container just looks.
And feels like, I mean, another planet.
Oh my god.
Good morning at 9.40 in the morning.
So you can actually sleep in.
And still see good morning.
And man, that good morning list.
I'm just by the Haimu River and Bridge.
Which is the place to open up.
Today, I'm just wandering around this magical area.
And in nature.
I just want to say I feel so lucky.
To be able to see views and scenery like this.
And to be here and to get to take.
Cool views like this.
Coming from sunny Singapore.
This is just a distant dream.
I could only see it on screens.
Now I'm about to turn 30.
It just feels.
Still so unreal to me.
When I go back to the city, back to Singapore.
This feels like a dream.
Just standing here right now.
Here.
I'm just trying to take it all in.
The whole vibe.
When I'm out here away from everyone.
Just soaking in the scenery.
And being a total nature junkie.
I feel so, so fake.
Haimu Village is actually pretty massive.
So to get around.
There's a free shuttle service that covers the whole area.
So I think this is a 100-year-old Tobin cabin.
Turns out it's an ancient temple.
Shaped by Tibetan Buddhist influence.
Back at Haimu Bridge.
I decided to go for a one-hour horseback ride.
You can choose to ride on a carriage.
Or directly on the horse.
I feel like riding directly on the horse.
Has to be way more fun.
Alright, I'm gonna ride the horse.
This is my beautiful horse.
Okay, you gotta accept.
Let's freaking do this.
Hey, how's it going?
The onions are making me cry.
Over and over again.
These are good onions.
Thank you.
Check out the view.
It's packed with people.
Damn.
Alright, I want to see.
A really beautiful view.
From the area, another view.
And.
Oh no.
So loud.
I bought some Chinese udon.
Because it's cold, I need something hot and.
The only way to eat here is.
Sitting outside.
I'm chilling my balls.
I'm at the bonfire lighting.
It's right after Herma Food Street.
They have some performances.
And I think there's also a bonfire lighting ceremony.
Where someone gets to light the fire from the highest point.
So let's see who gets stuck with the job.
Last ticket price was around 6,600 renminbi.
That's more than 1,000 Singapore dollars.
Just to light a bonfire.
Man, some people.
Some people just have money to burn.
Like.
Literally.
So during the car ride it wasn't too bad, there's something I can do here.
That's gonna be even more epic.
Before I leave, I gotta do one more epic thing here at Haemoo.
It's a car ride, but not just any car ride.
I wanna drift the car and shoot epic drone footage.
And I'll leave that to Tian's epic drone shots.
While I focus on not falling off the wagon.
An Xuan, all good?
Yes.
You'll teach me?
100%.
Congratulations.
Okay, good to know.
So I took the road to the tutorial.
Took a five-minute lesson.
And we headed to the field.
This, wow.
This is the most adrenaline-fueled.
And most fun feeling.
I've ever experienced on the field.
Wrapped up the wagon ride and headed to the field.
Haemoo Village in Xinjiang transported me to another world.
That barely felt real.
Even though it's a bit commercial and pretty popular with tourists.
It still looks like a dream.
Not really known to the world outside.
I feel so full.
But sadly.
This is going to become just a dream again.
