Gouache Portraits, One Very Limited Palette | A Cozy Evening of Painting & Jazz

Come spend a cozy evening painting with me as I work on three colorful gouache portraits using a very limited palette.

There’s lots of color mixing, a little palette-cleaning experiment, a few moments of doubt, and plenty of gouache and jazz along the way. 🎷🎨

I love how a limited palette can make you look at colors differently and discover combinations you might not normally think of. And, as always, not every painting goes exactly as planned… sometimes you just have to keep going and trust the process.
