Unboxing EKSA H6 30 Hour Bluetooth Headsets with Microphone & USB Dongle : Good Tech Cheap
Aug 25, 2026
I called out to you on the telephone, but you didn't hear me
because I wasn't using a headset like I should have been doing. Silly me, right?
Hey everybody, what's up? Welcome to this episode of Good Tech Cheap. I'm your host,
Kevin. I'd like you to do something for me. If you like videos about Good Tech Cheap,

and liking these videos, turn on that notification bell so you actually know when we drop another
episode of Good Tech Cheap. I know the opening there was really sad, and I'm not referring to
the state of my singing because I know that was good. You know, I was trying to go for one of
those 80s power ballads about people not connecting, not hearing each other, and how sad it
is. And the way we fix that is by using something like the ExaTelecom H6 AI-powered ENC Bluetooth
headset. Did I say a lot of technology just now? Yes, I did. So when I talk about AI-powered
ENC Bluetooth technology, that translates to one very important thing.
Ah, I was going to scream it, and then I decided not to. Noise cancellation. It applies to noise
cancellation. We all work in lots of different places, not just in the quiet of our home,
now that we are more out and about, and not just in an office. We work in restaurants,
and cafes, and on the subway, and in mass transit, and our cars, and you want something that's going
to have a lot of up-to-date noise cancellation technology, and that is what you're going to get
here. 95% efficient noise cancellation technology. We're talking the latest tech here with the most
up-to-date Qualcomm chip, which enables a lightning-fast connection between your device
and your Exa headset up to 32 feet. All you've got to do is wear a USB dongle. It's included
in the box. I like the fact that you actually get an extra layer to maintain that connection.
And we're talking long-lasting technology here too, which is going to give you 30 hours of talk
time. Don't want to talk to people? Don't blame you. Just listen to music. 55 hours of music
listening time on a full charge. And how long to get a full charge? One and a half hours. That's
it. Your Exa headset also comes with ultra-comfortable, oversized, removable ear muffs.
I actually found them to be very comfortable, and I like using them, but if they're not your
preference, you can remove them. The headset, of course, is also adjustable, and the built-in
microphone for that extra clarity, so you can actually make sure somebody hears you. All right,
I'll stop with that. To make sure that somebody hears you, it rotates 110 degrees, and you can
have it on either ear, the left or the right, on your headset. Very thoughtful for that to be a
thing. And to control volume, well, that's just a dial on the left ear. Easy to use, completely
accessible. And how much for all this wonderful, fast-charging, long-lasting, noise-canceling
technology? Well, normally it's $95, but if you click on that link below, you'll be able to get
your Exa headset for only $59.99. That's right. Click, you'll see. All right, we got our headset
charging up. It is connected right now, and you can tell it's charging because there's a little
red light right there. I don't know if you can see it. There we go. So when both of those are
filled in, we know that our headset is fully charged. We're going to let it do its thing for
right now. Notice the antenna microphone, and it's 110 degrees of movement. Very good here.
If you turn on the headset, it's simply right there. On either side are volume controls,
and then this is a very useful button right here. You know, the instructions were very
straightforward about how to operate. Using picture diagrams, that's all that was really
needed. So that's the button you press if you're getting a phone call that you do not want to take.
It is the Do Not Disturb button right there. This, besides being the On button, which will
set your Bluetooth, is also a multi-purpose button. The Volume Up and Volume Down buttons
are easy to use while the headset is on, and as you can see, it is labeled left and right,
so you have an idea of how to orient your headset. And if you need to make it bigger
or smaller, you're able to do that as well. All right, so we are fully charged now. Let's put
on a bit of a tight fit, so I'm going to expand the headset. All right, that feels good. I like
that. And once you actually turn on your headset, it'll immediately go into Bluetooth pairing mode,
and all you have to do at that point is look at your laptop, your phone, your tablet, your smart
device, essentially, and make sure that EXA is there. You click on that, it'll connect,
and after that, it will stay connected to that device until you tell it to forget.
You also have the option of adding a second device, which is a great feature.
I'm going to orient this microphone so that it actually works comfortably in this range right
here, and at this point, I'm ready to go. Hey there, this is Kevin with Good Tech Cheap.
What can I recommend for you today? So as I said, the instructions are super easy to follow.
Everything is literally in pictogram form because it relates directly to features that you can see
on your headset, and I've looked through all the features. The instructions are just a few
pages long, so everything does work that quickly and that easily. I had absolutely no problem
Bluetooth pairing to my phone. The sound was great. It was clear. The noise cancellation
feature is definitely a plus. As you can see here in my office, it's a bit quiet,
but I do tend to take calls for business when I'm out and about, and that is a great plus.
You have a travel case that you can also put your headphones in, which is very appreciated.
And to point out one more time, to ensure that Bluetooth connectivity,
you actually have your Bluetooth dongle right here. So if you have a laptop, for instance,
or a desktop, and you want to plug this in to maintain that connection even more so,
that's what it's there for. All right. Well, I think that just about wraps it up for today.
I would like to thank EXA for sponsoring this video and sending us this headset so we could
test it and report on it back to all of you. Once again, if you want one of your own,
normalist price, $95, now $59.99, click on that link in the description below. I'll wait while
you do it. I'm going to be waiting a long time because I can't see if you're doing it or not,
but I'm going to assume you are because it's a pretty cool wireless headset. From Los Angeles,
California, I've been your host, Kevin. Stay safe, be kind, and I shall see you next time.
