Doula coverage expanded to some NYC employees starting 2027

New York City is expanding maternal healthcare through its citywide doula initiative. Starting in January, MetroPlus Health will provide doula coverage for city employees with gold plan memberships, offering prenatal, postnatal, and labor support. To date, over 4,200 individuals have benefited from the initiative's services.
