Located in San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, this contemporary residence is designed around a sequence of courtyards that bring light, air, and vegetation deep into the heart of the home.

Rather than creating a clear boundary between inside and outside, the architecture uses open courtyards, covered galleries, and carefully positioned openings to create a gradual transition between the city, the house, and nature.

Built primarily from exposed concrete, stone, and wood, the residence combines a strong architectural presence with a warm and natural atmosphere. A series of internal courtyards creates visual continuity throughout the house while also improving natural ventilation and daylight.

One courtyard connects the living room with the upper floor, functioning as a natural air chimney that helps warm air rise and escape. Deep eaves and shaded outdoor spaces further improve the home's passive environmental performance.
