Federal authorities have apprehended a New York woman for her suspected involvement in a plot to detonate explosives at the state capitol in Albany with the intent to assassinate legislators. Legal officials claim that 35-year-old Jessica Bowie had earlier sworn loyalty to the Islamic State (IS), and she now faces criminal charges for attempting to supply material support and resources to a recognized foreign terrorist group.
