Family of Chuck Brown withdraws support from DC’s ‘Chuck Brown Day’

The family of go-go legend Chuck Brown has withdrawn its support for the 12th annual Chuck Brown Day celebration. Despite allegations of poor communication and mismanagement by organizers, the event will proceed this Saturday at Fort DuPont Park to honor the music and culture of the \"Godfather of Go-Go.\"
