Lightning strike sparks house fire in Summit, forcing nine residents out

A lightning strike caused a fire in a multi-family home in Summit, New Jersey, during a severe storm. Residents, including Tony Harrell, reported the ceiling collapsing and sparks flying as the strike hit the chimney and ignited the attic. Thanks to quick warnings and a rapid response from firefighters, all nine residents escaped safely. The cause is under investigation by the Union County Arson Task Force.
