Cars will soon return to Pike Place Market

The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) plans to scale back the temporary car-free pedestrian zone at Pike Place Market starting in October. While the area has seen high praise for increased safety and foot traffic, vehicle access will return Monday through Thursday during the fall and winter months, though restrictions will remain on Fridays and weekends.
