Head Money Cases (Edye v Robertson) (Supremacy of national over international law)

In this international law case, the US Supreme Court found that even though the US constitution made treaties (along with the constitution itself and congressional Acts) the "supreme law of the land", treaties can nevertheless be amended or repealed by national law. As in most countries, national law prevails over international agreements.
