Shocker! Ex-Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif sounds alarm, warns Shehbaz Government over ongoing PoJK crisis

In a latest development, Former Pak PM and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has sounded a big alarm over ongoing PoJK crisis. The former Pak PM’s statement comes following the conclusion of ‘so-called’ elections in Pak-occupied Kashmir. The PML-N supremo warned Shehbaz govt that if it fails to fulfil public sentiment the people of PoJK will grow angry. He also noted that the reason behind it would be valid and stressed the need to look inward in the upcoming days. Nawaz also pointed to the fact that the current situation in PoJK is due to the failure of successive govt’s to fulfil their duties. PoJK has witnessed widespread protests in the recent months due to deteriorating condition of the region over the years. The protesters also demanded accountability for those killed during protests and called for withdrawal of Pak forces from PoJK. Recently 14 people were killed after Pak security forces allegedly opened fire on protesters in Rawalakot on July 27. The UN has also called for accountability from authorities regarding the crackdown on peaceful demonstrators in PoJK
