What Babylon Really Looked Like 2,600 Years Ago (AI Reconstruction)

Basically, in this video, I use AI to "resurrect" Babylon —the greatest city the ancient world had yet built, rising out of nothing but mud on the lower Euphrates in modern-day Iraq— and walk its streets exactly as they were around 570 BC, at the absolute peak of Nebuchadnezzar II's reign. It's not just about looking at buildings; we explore the avenue of blue glazed brick, the dragon-guarded Ishtar Gate, and above all Etemenanki —the giant ziggurat that is, almost certainly, the real Tower of Babel— at their absolute peak. We contrast that jewel-colored reality —an entire city sheathed in cobalt brick to imitate lapis lazuli— with the empty square pit of broken brick that is all that remains today.
We also break down the strangest ending in the ancient world: how the Tower of Babel wasn't a myth but a real building, why the most powerful king on earth had to kneel and be stripped of his crown once a year, and how a city that survived Persian conquest and was chosen by Alexander the Great to be his capital ended not in fire or flood, but as an unfinished hole in the ground —because Alexander died before a single new brick could be laid. It's crazy to see that the staircase to heaven we still tell our children about was real, and what actually became of it.
