NEW PATIO REVEAL! Our DIY Flagstone Patio Transformation

For years, we had a DIY pea gravel patio that we loved, but over time it became more and more difficult to maintain—especially with a large tree overhead and little boys constantly tracking gravel into the house! We decided it was time for a change and fell in love with the idea of a beautiful, old-world-inspired flagstone patio.

We also tried to make this project as budget-friendly as possible by repurposing things we already had. Mike built our patio table using reclaimed pressure-treated wood from an old church ramp, and we brought in a beautiful vintage table from my mom and an old sink we found on Facebook Marketplace. I love how all of these pieces give the space that collected, cottage-style, old-world feel.

It was definitely a LOT of work, but we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It feels like this patio has been here for years—and I'm especially loving how much easier it is to keep clean!
