Yesterday, loading a hay truck, I think I got a little too close to something and popped
my cover on my hub seal, which I didn't really notice until we got back to the shop.
So I happened to get one, or they happened to have one at Napa, so getting the hub seal
cover back on there.
This is the one that broke.
It's just plastic, it's so that you can see the oil level in your hub and know that you
got plenty of oil in there.
So anyways, fortunately they had one, we're going to slap her back on here and be good
to go because I got a hay truck for a little bit later.
Yeah, I got a bunch of post holes that I got to dig.
Not only the ones that I knocked over in the front, but I got to fence it, we got to fix
it with a new lease, and then we dropped a bunch of trees at my parents' house and
it broke a bunch of posts, so got to dig new holes for all those so that we can get some
fence fixed before we put cows in.
I need to change out the bit on this guy, I need a bigger bit, we're going to be putting
in some bigger posts than this little guy right here, so I got to pull these bolts,
switch it out with a new bit, and then we're off and running.
Alright, off to the first spot.
So we had a bunch of dead trees here and they were kind of looming over this fence, so we
decided to go ahead and pull the fence down, get the trees dropped, and then now we're
rebuilding it, we're going to put a new gate, so getting some holes popped in, and then
we can string this fence back up, because I got to put cows up in this range ground
and can't have a big hole in the fence.
I'll go grab a couple posts from up there in that pond.
How many feet?
Alright, so I've been trying to get all of the hay pulled out of this barn, it's a really
nice barn, it holds a lot of hay, but I haven't really done a good job of rocking the barn
yard and stuff, so when the weather gets bad come January, this gets a little sloppy and
stuff out here, so I'm trying my best to each truck that comes, trying to get hay out of
this barn and get this barn all emptied, so that way when the weather gets bad, you know,
after the first of the year in January, sometimes we get a lot of snow and stuff, I don't have
to come out to this barn, it's a little ways out here, and that way I don't have to deal
with getting stuck or anything like that.
So anyways, we're on a mad rush, we're close, we've probably got about, oh I'd say maybe
6 or so, maybe 6 or 7 more loads left in this barn, and then we'll have this bad boy cleaned
out hopefully before the first of the year.
