For a few years now, I've been buying gorgeous blankets for myself and as gifts for others from Yorkshire Blankets as I absolutely love wool, from sheep to end product.

Here founder, Victoria (Vicky) and daughter Fran tell their wonderful story of how it came about and their passion for wool.

Vicky was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer which led to them launching 2 new special blankets to raise funds for 2 local and supportive charities (link below).

This was kindly filmed in Ilkley at the Yorkshire Day fair on Sunday 2nd August, 2026 by my dear friend Jane. I had hoped to meet and interview these two amazing ladies and Jane was a bit nearer!
