In this episode we explore both Rarotonga and Aitutaki, travelling by scooter, local bus and a boat while discovering a place that moves to its own rhythm
From the incredible lagoon of Aitutaki and snorkeling with giant trevally, to Sunday church singing, local island life and even a Hash House harriers run, this journey turned out to be about much more than scenery.
We stayed at Muri Retreat in Rarotonga, explored the lagoon with Bishop`s Cruises, visited One Foot Island, enjoyed a traditional island dance performance and finished the evening with a buffet at Tamanu Beach Resort.
Sometimes the places that stay with you aren`t the ones trying hardest to impress.
