Our No Money Spent squad is looking phenomenal right now.
We have an outfield of Dylan Cruz, Byron Buxton, James Wood, an infield of Rafael Palmeiro,
Tony Stone, Derek Jeter, Adrian Beltre, Josh Gibson, and Tamar Johnson.
Now there's a lot that I've done since the last time I talked to you guys.
We did the Derek Jeter storyline in the last No Money Spent video.
We haven't dabbled in the Diamond Dynasty in two days.
Let me get you caught up on everything that I have done.
Obviously, we have Dylan Cruz in our lineup.
That means that we completed the spring breakout program finally, and we got all the, well,
the two 89s, the 87 James Wood, the Jacob Mizorowski.
This is a really good program to start the season.
We did 100% the Derek Jeter storylines.
We even did those side quests for the core four.
So we're going to open up these storyline packs.
They're showing us a walkout on the storyline packs.
We get the Paul O'Neill walkout.
So I have the 1999 Chili Davis.
It's the gold Chili Davis.
The 2000 MLB All-Star game from that one moment we had to complete.
These are nice.
I like these.
I like the gold.
It's like Sonic rings.
And then we also get a classic stadium pack from that program as well,
where I'm just going to take old Atlanta.
Now, I still have 30 standard packs and six ball as a habit pack sitting here.
Where did I get these packs from?
Well, we got them at the Nation of Baseball Conquest map,
because your boy needs to do just one last stronghold up here
in the very top right against the Boston Red Sox.
And we're going to have the entire Conquest map completely wiped out and done.
We're about to do that right now.
But before we hop in, guys, if you're new here, hit that subscribe button down below.
We're on the grind for 200,000 subs.
Hammer that like button while you're down there.
Let's try and get a comma in the like comp.
But most importantly, go to a baseball game this season.
Seek Geek Coach Shelfie, 20 bucks off your first purchase.
I'm just I'm out here hooking people up.
Going to send Jacob Mizorowski out there on the mound against the Red Sox
to finish off this Conquest map.
Garrett Whitlock on the mound.
The former reliever, silver live series in Fenway Park.
Let's do it.
Oh, the Josh Gibson perfect, perfect on a fly ball.
I don't understand why he's the only guy in the game with the sound,
the explosive sound effect on every swing.
Fly ball left, one down.
Dot.
Fly ball left, Adrian Beltre.
We'll squeeze, let's go hit.
Oh, give me a no doubter on that one.
Tony Stone's the greatest of all time.
Can somebody get a gap here, please?
Oh, that ball's demolished.
Who needs a gap when you can just go 700 dead center?
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying Shelfie Airlines.
Broken bat infield.
Beltre with a chance to flash the leather.
He was nasty over there.
Gas, one and two, and I'm just going to go right at him.
He didn't like that.
Boo.
Boo. Caught her out over the plate.
I pressed the wrong button. Oh, my goodness.
Nasty, so nasty.
All right, now we just need three outs,
and we will be done-zo with the U.S. Conquest map.
I like the U.S. Conquest map,
but it's always extremely relieving when it's done.
Feel like I can move on.
Well, that's not good.
Now, here we go, postgame.
We should have everything entirely done.
I don't think I had any other spots.
Nope, 18 out of 18 goals completed.
Baseball manifest destiny.
Conquer all territories on the map for 20 show packs.
We also got the 89-stand Musial card,
the 87-overall Jim Rice card, and the 85-overall David Ortiz.
Now we're gonna dive headfirst into these packs,
Michael Phelps style,
try and get some good diamonds on the squad.
Then we're gonna go talk about team affinity.
Just burned through these 50 standard packs.
I'm, like, so jealous, so jealous.
I'm seeing Otani pulls. I'm seeing Judge pulls.
I'm seeing diamonds left and right on the social medias,
but none for me so far, none for me.
We're, now that we just ripped that first 10,
we're about, what, about 95 standard packs down in total.
We have pulled Edwin Diaz,
so we're about due for another one
in terms of the one-per-50 pack rule
or average that they say it is.
We are about due for our second one.
The question is, how big?
I want to know in the comments section down below right now,
who has been your biggest pack of the season so far?
Who's your biggest pull?
Who got you out of your seat?
Who got you to flip the bedsheets?
25 more here.
Should be getting content soon, too.
I haven't looked at the schedule.
I know that there's a schedule out,
but the Seoul MLB's kicking off their season here this week.
Only got the Padres and the Dodgers playing,
and then you got the full MLB season breaking out next week,
but we should be getting content from that short series
that's happening in Korea,
and we should start getting some bigger drops next week,
so we are going to have a lot to do soon.
I want to have this entire mode,
no money spent, as up-to-date as possible
before we get our first content drop of the year.
We got official launch today
at the time this video is going up,
and we're down to, what, 11,
so we're inside of a dozen packs now
here on these standards.
Alex Wood.
It's early in the year, though,
so the good news about having dud pack openings
is at least I'm filling my inventory
with guys that I do need.
These aren't duplicates like mid-season,
so these cards do have value to me,
cards I don't have to buy
when I go to complete collections,
but it would be nice to get something here.
This is crazy.
Jake Fraley.
Three more, just three more.
We do have six Ballin' as a Habits, though.
We had a gold Archie Bradley.
Do have six Ballin's.
There's good odds there.
One more.
Trash.
All right, let's open up this one gold.
You could get a diamond out of a gold pack technically.
Not today, though.
Six Ballin' as a Habits.
We're guaranteed one gold or better
in each one of these.
Let's see it.
Gold Merrill Kelly.
Five more.
Come on, show me blue.
Show me some blue.
I want a blue diamond, too.
Not just the diamond blue.
I want the blue-colored diamonds.
The good ones.
This is a Friedel.
This is Bananas.
My pack luck has been atrocious.
Well, at least I got a double gold pack.
Two golds I need,
and there's one that might go diamond early in the year.
All right, so that pack opening
didn't help me upgrade the team at all,
but the squad's looking really good right now
for one weekend of playing this game.
We had diamonds all over the place.
A really solid squad.
The Derek Jeter storyline is done.
The US Conquest map is done.
I think I only have,
actually, do I have any of the starter maps?
No, I do have to do two of the starter maps soon.
I'll get those done in 10 minutes between videos, though.
So the only Conquest maps I'm gonna have sitting here
are the Team Affinity,
and thankfully, this year with Team Affinity,
you can repeat the Showdown.
So we're gonna be able to go through Showdown
and get these vouchers, as many of them as we want.
So I'll be able to spam Showdown to finish Affinity,
but before I dive in and start doing a Team Affinity grind,
which I will do most of it between videos,
just so I don't clog you up with repeat Showdowns,
let's talk about Team Affinity entirely.
Currently, I'm at 21% on the AL East,
and that is the highest percentage I have
on any division so far,
and I have not dedicated anything to Team Affinity.
This is just for me playing the game
with the players that I have available to me.
I'm not trying to do anything.
I haven't done a single one of these moments
that are 3,000 points apiece.
I have 30,000 points apiece
on the Team Affinity Conquest maps.
Those Team Affinity Conquest maps
will be done by episode five.
Once you do the moments in the Conquest maps,
really the best way to go about this
is just repeating Showdown and getting those vouchers.
I'm just so relieved that we have this exchange voucher here
and that Showdown's repeatable.
This game was really missing that last year.
There are some Team Affinities
that I just straight up didn't finish.
The only way to complete it was Team Player PXP.
If you go down here,
you got the repeatable PXP missions with each team,
and if this is your way of grinding,
if this is the way you enjoy grinding
and just knocking it out,
play versus CPU, have at it.
Just not my favorite, though.
But now we have options.
So this is next on my to-do list,
the Affinity Conquest maps and moments,
and then from there, I'm gonna jump into Battle Royale,
and I'm gonna try and complete this Battle Royale program,
and I'm gonna do this in advance
so that I'm not pushing it at the deadline.
I'm actually very interested in Battle Royale this year
since it's only 10 wins instead of 12.
It's kind of rapid fire.
One thing I wanna do is go through here
and knock out some of these starter collections
just to start getting the collections
knocked out in the inventory.
I am OCD.
I am an OCD guy with my inventory.
I know there's plenty of people
watching No Money Spent right now
that know exactly what I'm talking about.
They just gotta get their inventories done.
They can't let this stuff linger around.
It's crazy that I've even let it linger around
as long as I have.
Now, these are gonna be a little bit more difficult,
the equipments and whatnot.
Now, how about the uniforms?
Where are we on uniforms?
42.
All right, that means we're not even close
on the other ones then.
We're gonna end this video off
with one little Ranked Seasons gameplay.
Let's get Derek Jeter's Ranked Seasons debut.
We're gonna go with a lineup of Derek Jeter,
Tamar Johnson, Josh Gibson, James Wood,
Dylan Cruz, Adrian Beltre, Tony Stone,
Rafael Palmero, and Byron Buxton.
We're gonna be the home squad in game two,
and this time I have to hit Sandy.
We threw Sandy in our first game.
Now we gotta hit him.
He's got the classic vintage Cincinnati Red Road
greys on here.
I'm taking him to Laughing Mountain for game number two.
We're 1-0.
We got a big dub in the last episode.
If you haven't seen it already, go check it out.
I'm telling you, if you're new here at No Money Spent,
you gotta go check out episode one.
Get yourself caught up.
Ooh, that ball smoked.
First ball in play this game is James Wood
hitting a missile right at Beltre at third.
Dot.
0-2 on Ozzy Alves.
Looks like he's willing to take on the inside half
when it's close.
Heard big things about this guy.
I have faced him in showdown already.
Now we're using him.
Two quick outs.
Oh, good change up, but a better swing from Palmero.
He's gonna inside out that into the gap.
It's a triple for most players,
but Buxton's gonna flag that down.
Only 43 speed.
He'll hang out at second.
That's a stand-up two-out double for Palmero.
And now here comes the cleanup batter,
who is Nolan Arenado.
Oh, that's not a very good pitch,
but we did have him out in front, which was our goal.
Dylan Cruz will squeeze it.
He strands one.
Oh, Jeter goes down looking at his first at-bat.
99 paint right on the corner.
That was a dot.
Wow, I'm trying to be patient out here.
You're gonna do that?
1-0.
Ooh, Tamar.
Out to left.
That's gonna be down.
Extra bases for Tamar.
Run, baby!
Let's go.
3-0.
James Wood on deck.
Does he come right after him?
He does, but Josh Gibson hits it well out to right,
but it's caught.
Ah!
James Wood, get down ball!
Don't do that!
Don't do me like that!
Missiles everywhere!
Come on!
Dot.
Nasty change-up.
Jacob Mizorowski gets a K to start the second.
Now Josh Gibson's in for him.
Just had a good swing for us over top of the slider.
Not where I wanted it, but that's deadly.
Cave ball in the dike.
Good pitch.
He gets the sound effect on ground balls.
Jeter makes a play.
Ground ball base hit Tamar.
First pitch cutter right in on his hands.
He pulled it through the hole.
Now that cutter that he has swung out, but way in.
No, don't do that.
Don't.
Whoo!
Soft line drive to Beltran.
30 strands both.
That got a little too sweaty.
Dylan Cruz?
Oh, caught at the wall.
Kind of lagging on me there.
I wasn't sure where it was going.
We only got 88 eggs if we low.
Beltran, base knock.
There we go.
Finally, we find grass.
Tony Stone!
Back-to-back singles right back up the middle.
All over it.
Get down, ball.
Three straight singles, and I'm sending that runner.
That was a tough play out there.
He had to play it on a short hop.
We take the lead.
Palmero comes through.
I can't wait until his 99 comes out later in the year.
I can already tell you right now,
that's gonna be my favorite new legend this year.
Buxton, ground ball.
Base hit up the middle.
81 speed's gonna score easily.
Don't throw it to third.
Oh, it was a bad throw to third.
We'll take those.
Two nothing score.
Second and third with one out.
They're not doing the little things on that side.
Here's Jeter.
Got Cade looking last time up.
This time, he's gonna slap one up the middle.
Base hit.
That's gonna score both.
That'll score both.
I would have been easily at second base there.
What am I doing?
Two run single for Jeter.
He gets the strikeout back.
We're suddenly up four in the second.
Tamar flies out.
I was feeling it there a little.
Little too gun, little too trigger happy.
Just a little bit too happy.
That wasn't a very good swing now, was it?
We put up four though.
A good inning.
We strand one.
Let's go shut him down.
One, two, three.
Set a mess.
Palmiro does it all!
He does it all!
He hits.
He dives.
He flips.
Unreal.
Hard ground ball.
Base hit right there for Ozzie Albee.
He's all right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
Comes right back at us with a good swing.
He's taking the first, Palmiro.
Good play.
Good time to take off right there.
Went a little hit and run on us.
Brings up Nolan Arnauto with a runner
and scores two outs.
Can he get on the board?
Good swing.
Does he try it?
59 speed.
Buxton has a hose.
59 speed.
Buxton has a hose.
Safe by a step.
What a play.
Nolan Arnauto gets him on the board.
Had to be sitting on that pitch
because it was dotted.
Oh!
Mwah!
Mamma mia!
Spanked.
James Wood.
Spanked.
He's a hard contact machine.
That one, he almost got robbed for a second time
in his game right there.
113 on the bat, almost found leather.
Front door slider.
I dropped the PCI at the last second.
I just kind of hesitated on it.
Beltre?
Barreled?
No doubt about it!
Change up out over the strike zone
to lead off the at bat.
We don't miss it.
438 for Beltre, a no doubter of the barrel.
Brings up Tony Stone, who's two for two.
Tony Stone.
Get there, get there, get there, get there, get there.
Yeah!
Throw it in, man!
Throw it in!
Pull it.
Palmero, oh, what a play at second base
for the second out of the inning.
Huge.
Save the run right there, Ozzie.
And then Buxton destroys a baseball.
He's cracked.
Launch month, Buxton is back again.
And then Jeter rolls one over.
We add three more, though.
We win the frame.
It is seven to one in the third inning.
Josh Gibson fly ball left.
Sounded like he hit it 120.
Frozen solid.
Take a nap in the dugout.
Ground ball, base hit Corbin Carroll.
Not the guy you want on the bases.
Two outs, though.
We can worry about the nine hole here.
Popped it up.
First pitch hit and run with Harry Ford.
Ends the inning on a pop up the first base.
We go bottom four.
Hits are 10-six.
Run him.
Run him!
See you later, bud!
Woo-hoo!
Jack D'Osito, cuz!
That bumps Jacob up to parallel three now.
He's technically a 90 overall
when he's out there on the bump.
Got us a couple packs there post-game
So we are now 2-0 in ranked seasons.
We have the conquest map done.
Our programs are up to date.
Now it's time we do Team Affinity
and the Battle Royale program
before we start getting content dropped.
