Hey friends! Welcome back to my channel. In today's video, we're going to Hobby Lobby
for a sneak peek of their Christmas decor this year. We're not buying anything yet,
but I always like to go this early to see what is new and what trends are they bringing. And as
always, I am going to include all reference numbers and pricing on the screen for you. Keep in mind
that when I filmed this video, there were no discounts announced for Christmas decor just yet,
but after I edited this video, I realized on the website that everything is 50% off already,
so feel free to subtract that out of the pricing you're seeing on the screen.
One of the major things I noticed in this shopping trip is, of course, the embracing
of all the reds and greens for Christmas. I know that sounds not very groundbreaking,
but I didn't see a lot of flocked greenery. I did find this beautiful Norfolk pine wreath.
This one is a 24 by 24 and the color of the greenery is showing up pretty accurate on camera.
I really like that shade of green as it is not too bright as some Norfolk greenery tends to be.
Then this gold pine cone garland looks very dainty and beautiful. This is one that I've
seen year after year, but a showstopper, which I saw a lot of people stop at the store and admire
this beauty, it was this beautiful frosted berry wreath. This one is a 26 by 26 and I love the
colors. I think this is going to be a very popular item this year. It also has a six feet garland.
As you can see right here, this is going to be perfect to decorate any mantel or any dining
table. Really loving this look and here's a close-up on how those flocked berries look like.
One new to me piece is this beautiful green swag with those bronze hanging bells and that
green ribbon. I think this will be such a nice item this year for like a rustic Christmas look.
And then talking more about wreaths, I found this one, which is one that I've seen year after year
here at Hobby Lobby. And the greenery in this one, I would say is partially flocked. I'd say
this green is very toned down, but you have traditional elements like the berries and the
pine cones, which make it very pretty. But this one right here, I thought was also very beautiful.
This is one that is half decorated. It has green ribbon and some jingle bells hanging. And this
one I don't recall from last year, so it may be new. But another very popular one has been
this wreath right here with black ribbon and antique bells hanging. Unfortunately, all of the
wreaths at my Hobby Lobby had the bells wrapped still, but whenever I come back to check on more
Christmas decor, I'll be sure to cover this one if they have an unwrapped one. And then this
garland. This garland is such a nice option for garlands. I believe I own one of these. I love
the toned down green color, yet looking very traditional. And this one I think is a great
option for any kind of surface that you're decorating for your Christmas decor. One
section of Hobby Lobby that inspires me year after year to create different Christmas looks is this
one right here, the section for the flowers and pigs. And this year I found one of my top favorite
pigs, which is this one right here, the velvet pigs. And that one is in that beautiful dark
chocolate brown. I also found these hanging bells, which are a staple for a secondary Christmas tree
that I decorate in my house. These are the bells that I use. I also found a new to me find, which
is these red velvet pigs. These are going to be beautiful and very popular this year, with the
red becoming increasingly popular again for Christmas decor. And I love this shade of red.
Then I also found some traditional looking berries. And I really love that these look
more on the burgundy side, which is something that I prefer. You really never can go wrong with these
to decorate your Christmas tree or any wreath or garland. And the good thing about these pigs is
that they always complete the look in your Christmas tree. And you can give your Christmas
tree different looks depending on the pig that you select. This one is a new to me. I don't think
I've ever seen it before. It's an ice berry or cherry pig. I really like how full they are. And
I like the extra dimension that the icing effect it gives to them. One thing that I would tell you
not to skip on is on the greenery pigs, because these will help you change the texture of your
Christmas tree and provide more dimension whenever you're decorating it. This is something I do with
my tree every single year. And these right here are great options. And then if you are not great
decorating wreaths, but you want to do your own, I would tell you that a pig like this will be such
a nice option. You just get yourself a few of these and put them around your wreath and boom,
your wreath is decorated nicely. And then after that, I went into a tangent with Christmas flowers.
It's been a while since I don't decorate my trees with flowers, but oh my goodness, I was just so
distracted looking at these. This is such a nice forest green flower. I know it looks more teal or
blue on video, but truly is just forest green. And then I also found these very glam looking dusty
pink flowers. I never do dusty pink, but I just cannot help it. These are very beautiful. The
thing with these is that it looks like they came from a specialty store for Christmas rather than
Hobby Lobby. Then I found this silver version of this flower. And to me, this looks very nostalgic.
While I am not a silver person for Christmas, I do believe these are very beautiful to look at.
And if you have a larger tree and like to decorate with flowers, I would say this size of flowers
will be best suited for your tree. This is another beautiful option that is gorgeous to look at. And I
believe I own a few of these from previous years and I just love to see them fresh in the store.
But one pick that I have and still use a lot is these metallic gold pine cone picks. These are a
great option for finishing off your tree. Whenever you're decorating it and you feel like something
is missing, it's usually picks like this. I'm telling you by experience, this one is a staple
for me. And these are called the metallic gold berry picks. I have like three of them in my hand
and with the 50% discount, they tend to be very, very affordable. Another item that I think is going
to be very popular this year is going to be these glass reindeers, which in truth, they are acrylic,
but they look like glass. And I think they have a lot of potential to be incorporated with some
other rustic items or that glass element that we're all craving during the season. So of course,
we have the standing and the sitting version for these and they are so, so pretty. Another element
that I thought was so pretty was this section right here, which is gingerbread houses. So we have a
couple of options. They really went in with the neutral ones because they have been very popular
for the last couple of years. You can light them up and they look so adorable, both of them. So
you have the smaller version and the larger version. And then you also have this Christmas
tree that we tend to see year to year as well. And these will be great for any coffee or hot cocoa
station that you may be decorating in your house. But one that I think is going to be very popular
this year is going to be this one right here because it has that vintage feel and the pop of
color is simply beautiful. This one turned out to be my favorite out of the gingerbread houses. They
also had this cute little sign right here to place in your hot beverage area or bar. Next section that
they update fairly quick whenever they're bringing their Christmas decor is this one right here with
all the candles and mini wreaths. And I'm going to start by showcasing these beautiful ornament candles
that you're going to see in just a second. And I love the scents of both. Unlike fall, I am so much
more into Christmas scents. This one right here is a pine scent and then this one right here smells
like Christmas joy. I can't tell you what exactly is the scent but I love it and I think these will
be great for decorative scented candles. I then found these other ornaments which I thought were
candles as well but they're not. They're actually more like decorative boxes only that they're not
square, they're round. But can we talk about how pretty these are? I love the green version and
then on the left the red version. Some of them are wrapped in plastic hence they present a slightly
different color on video but they are beautiful options. I also found these bow candlestick holders
that I saw from them last year. They brought them back I think in one size only. This is another
tapered candle holder that I saw last year in the shape of a gift. I believe these were quite popular
last year. There was a huge trend last year with glass gift boxes for decorations and this one was
a very pretty one. Next, I found these very traditional looking pillar candle holders in
that beautiful gold color. These two come in three different sizes. The largest one is nine inches
tall, middle one is six inches tall and then the smaller one is 6.25 inches tall. Overall, very
beautiful options for a centerpiece but I would say my favorite candle holder from this section
has to be this nutcracker one. I think this is so beautiful. I also think it's a new piece. They also
have this other one right here in that antique brass color with the Christmas tree and of course
we have the more non-seasonal ones but that can be incorporated into Christmas perfectly. One item
that I haven't seen before is this red candle warmer and I think it's beautiful. I am curious
to see if they do come up with different colors. As you can see, the shade of the candle warmer is
in that red glass which makes it pretty festive. Another favorite from the shopping trip has to be
these mini Christmas wreaths. I love that they have a combination of ribbon and berries at the
I think they have a lot of charm for effortlessly elegance in your home and same as the case with
these other berry mini wreaths. I just think the color of the berries is absolutely perfect and I
love the contrast between those reds and burgundies to give more dimension to the piece. One section
of Hobby Lobby that I almost never visit is the ribbon section but I did find quite a few pieces
with a lot of potential on this day. Starting with the wired velvet ribbon. I think wired ribbon is
such an affordable piece that can help you dress up a lot of decorations for Christmas around your
home without having, like I said, to spend a lot of money. I really liked that really dark forest
green ribbon and then this one is more of a dark red which I also really enjoyed. This one is more
on the mesh side. I liked it in person but I do have to say it's probably very sheer when I look
at the picture in the Hobby Lobby website but anything with movement is going to help you dress
up your tree. But if you want something more on the organic side and the rustic side, these ribbons
right here are perfect and they will retail for more money on Amazon and you can decorate wreaths,
you can make loose bows with these and you have a couple different options to choose from. Right
here I'm holding a piece of that ribbon so you can see how that moves. Since it is not wired, of
course, it's going to give you a more flowy movement which, like I said, is perfect for those loose
bows. Alright my friends, that's going to be everything for today's video. Thank you so much
for watching. I am so excited just to see a glimpse of Christmas decor because that's how much I love
Christmas. I am very much looking forward to come back to Hobby Lobby to see what is new for home
decor because right now I feel like they only start putting up the most basic things but I love
doing it because I love decorating and I love Christmas. But if you found any item that you
really enjoyed in this video, as always, let me know in the comment section down below. And if you enjoyed
this video, I really hope you can consider subscribing and without any further ado,
I really hope I can see you in my next one. Bye!
