On Saturday, July 25, 2026, marking the 27th anniversary of the global effort to oppose the persecution of Falun Gong, approximately 1,200 Falun Gong practitioners from across Taiwan gathered in downtown Taipei for a large-scale "July 20 Anti-Persecution Parade." The participants called for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, emphasizing that "Only by dismantling the CCP can the persecution be brought to an end." The event attracted considerable public attention, with many spectators expressing their support and encouragement for the practitioners.

今天下午4點至晚上8點，法輪功學員在台北市政府市民廣場前舉辦「7.20」反迫害活動。今天活動包括台北大遊行、集體煉功、記者會及燭光悼念會。台灣法輪大法學會表示，台灣各地法輪功學員也於12日在屏東、17日在台南、18日在台中、嘉義、高雄，以及19日在雲林，台灣6個城市都舉辦了法輪功反迫害27周年「7‧20」悼念會。
From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., practitioners held a series of commemorative activities in front of Taipei City Hall Civic Square, including a grand parade through Taipei's Xinyi District, a group exercise demonstration, a press conference, and a candlelight vigil to honor those who have lost their lives as a result of the persecution.

According to the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, commemorative events marking the 27th anniversary of the July 20 anti-persecution movement were also held across Taiwan, including Pingtung (July 12), Tainan (July 17), Taichung, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung (July 18), and Yunlin (July 19). In total, six cities participated in this nationwide series of remembrance and anti-persecution activities.
