South Hayward Parish Food Pantry to close after 50 years of service

The South Hayward Parish food pantry is closing after 50 years of service due to rising operational costs and financial pressures. To sustain its overnight shelter, the church decided to discontinue the pantry. To ensure the community remains supported, 11 neighboring food pantries have agreed to absorb the displaced clients.
