Here's who will be able to see the rare solar eclipse

A total solar eclipse is occurring globally, with the path of totality crossing Greenland, Iceland, Northern Russia, Spain, and Portugal. While the Bay Area cannot view the event directly, local institutions like the Exploratorium and Cal Academy of Sciences are hosting watch parties and live streams for the public.
