Local Dengue fever cases on the rise

Hillsborough County is intensifying mosquito control efforts following a rare surge in local dengue fever cases. With eight confirmed local infections and the first positive mosquito test since 2008, officials are working to contain the outbreak, particularly around the I-275 and I-4 interchange in Tampa, to prevent further community spread.
