Mount Rinjani: a 4D3N hike through Sembalun - Summit - Torean (2026)

Most people choose to do the 3D2N hike up Indonesia's most famous volcano: Mount Rinjani.
For us, we decided to do four days. Up the Sembalun route to the 3,726m summit, down to Segara Anak, then out through the Torean valley. We started as a group of three, but only two of us made it to the top.
This bucket-list hike is one that many choose to do, but many fail to prepare for the intensity that she demands of you. You see the summit photos (ironically, I forgot to take them) but what you don't see, is the nexy 2 days of hiking after - arguably more beautiful, more scenic, and also more tiring :')
This is my experience of Rinjani - one that I will never forget, and one that I hope to have immortalised here on YouTube for you to enjoy!
If you're planning your own Rinjani hike - this documentary will help you be better prepared for your own climb.
Remember, you NEED to do your leg days at the gym, it's simply not optional!
