William and Kate want the next monarch after them to be ‘fit for purpose’
News Corp Columnist Angela Mollard says she’s in support of Prince William’s approach to the monarch, saying they want a king that’s “fit for purpose”.
“We also have to think about his other key duty and that is raising the future king,” Ms Mollard told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“William and Kate are taking a different approach; they want the next monarch beyond him to be fit for purpose as a representative of the royal family.
“I am wholly in support of his approach.”
