Hi there! My name is Dixie and welcome to Dixie's Storytime World, where we enjoy soft,
slow and calm stories from all around the world. Today's story is Where Did My Teddy Go?
by Famela Simmons. It's bedtime for Child Fox, but oh no! Teddy is missing! Where could Teddy be?
Kids, grab your teddy bear or any special toy, snuggle up together and listen until the end
to find out where Teddy has gone. With a grown-up's help, please like and subscribe.
And now, let's read together. The stars burnt bright. The moon hung low.
Mama, where did my teddy go? My child, my love, I do not know.
Is Teddy over on the chair? No, he's not. He is not there. Mama, where did my teddy go?
Kids, can you see where Teddy's going? Look carefully. My child, sweet child, I do not know.
Is Teddy climbing up to bed? He's not below. Is he ahead? Mama, where did my teddy go?
Can you see teddy bear, kids? Look carefully. My child, my boy, I do not know.
Is Teddy with Sir Rubber Duck? There's no one here. Oh, we're out of luck.
Mama, where did my teddy go? My child, dear heart, I do not know.
Is Teddy brushing by the sink? Oh, he's come and gone. That's what I think.
Mama, where did my teddy go? My child, small fry, I do not know.
Is Teddy maybe getting dressed? Oh dear, he's not here now. We should have guessed.
Mama, where did my teddy go? My child, dear love, I do not know.
Could it be that Teddy's near? I found him, Mama. Teddy's here.
With Teddy found, the bed feels right. It's time for all to say goodnight.
Goodnight, Mama. Goodnight, my child. Goodnight, Teddy.
Kids, did you enjoy helping Child Fox search for Teddy? Now here's a fun fact. Did you know
teddy bears got their name from a man called Theodore Teddy Roosevelt?
He was one of the presidents of the USA. Thank you for listening. Keep your teddy close or your
toy and we'll see you next time for another calm and cozy story. Goodbye for now.
