Powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake hits western Colombia

A powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, resulting in at least 111 deaths. The quake caused widespread destruction, collapsing buildings and forcing evacuations as far as Bogota. Rescue efforts are currently underway to save residents trapped under debris in the hardest-hit regions.
