College student saves 3 girls from drowning during Seafair

Lily Veiling, a UC Davis student and former lifeguard, saved three young girls from drowning during Seafair weekend at Genesee Park. After noticing the girls struggling near a buoy lane, Veiling jumped into the water and rescued them one by one, including one unconscious girl tangled in a rope. For her heroism, she was honored as \"Seafarer royalty\" at a special gala.
