El-Sayed wins high-stakes Michigan Senate Democratic primary

Ending corporate money in politics was one of the ideas that propelled Abdul El-Sayed to the narrowest of victories in Michigan's Democratic Senate primary. That race was finally called for El-Sayed Wednesday, more than 14 hours after the polls closed. El-Sayed defeated Representative Haley Stevens by about 14,000 votes.
