A weekend backpacking trip out of the Bubbs Creek trail in Kings Canyon National Park, June 2026. Wildflowers, solitude and fantastic weather all contributed to a fantastic trip. The mosquitoes had a few moments of ferocity. On this trip I forgot my ground sheet I usually sleep on. Oh well.
