THE TROJAN WAR - The Entire Story

The Trojan War, immortalised in Homer's Iliad, is one of the greatest and most influential tales of Greek mythology and Western literature, with its story having been told on nearly every corner of the globe. For ten years, the mightiest warriors of Greece laid siege to Troy, the richest city in Asia, fighting for honour, glory, and Helen, a stolen queen. It was a war sparked by love and pride, where gods descended from Olympus to fight alongside mortals and heroes earned immortality through their deeds on the battlefield. At its centre stood Achilles, the greatest warrior who ever lived, a man whose rage nearly destroyed his own allies, and Hector, prince of Troy, whose courage and skill could not save his people from their fate. When the city finally fell to a giant wooden horse through Greek cunning and deception, the age of heroes came to its end in blood, fire, and ash.
