Man charged after investigators say he dismembered stepfather

Jose Proano, 44, has been arrested for the first-degree murder of his 71-year-old stepfather, Jorge Vazquez Escucha, in Orange County. Proano allegedly dismembered the victim's body and attempted to conceal the remains in suitcases. He is currently in custody, and authorities state there is no further threat to the public.
