Moderna authorized to test vaccines to fight Ebola virus in Congo

Health Canada has approved Moderna to begin a phase one clinical trial for a vaccine targeting an Ebola virus strain currently surging in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Canada is the second nation to initiate such trials, following the UK, to evaluate the vaccine's safety, appropriate dosage, and potential side effects.
