Hundreds of swimmers dive into Lake Michigan for cancer research

Hundreds of people will gather at Ohio Street Beach this Saturday for Swim Across America, a non-profit event raising funds for cancer research. The Chicago chapter partners with Rush University Cancer Center to fund early-stage clinical trials and patient care, operating under the principle that money raised locally stays local to benefit the community.
