Mt. Vernon deputy police commissioner arrested

Jennifer Lackard, the former deputy police commissioner of Mount Vernon, and her 20-year-old son, Chase, have been arrested and charged with attempted murder and conspiracy. Lackard allegedly acted as the getaway driver while her son attempted to shoot a rival gang member behind the Bronx criminal courthouse.
