Sea Turtle Rescue - Net Entanglement In Argostoli Harbour

On August 21, 2019, during a tagging event at the harbourfront, a team rescued a known female marine animal. The animal had a hook and netting lodged in its throat, preventing the debris from being swallowed or removed naturally. After the team successfully cleared the obstruction and took necessary measurements, the animal was released back into the wild.
