Discover the Beauty of King Mai Temple

On the morning of February 4th (the 14th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit), Nam Dan district held the Grand Ceremony of the King Mai Temple Festival 2023.The Grand Ceremony was held according to traditional rituals in a solemn and respectful manner at the King Mai Temple (Nam Dan town).
This is an important ceremony at the King Mai Temple Festival, aiming to commemorate the merits of King Mai and his army, as well as to express reverence, admiration, and gratitude to the national hero Mai Thuc Loan.
It also recalls the glorious history of the Mai Thuc Loan uprising, the heroic sacrifice of King Mai and his generals in the resistance against the Tang Dynasty invaders, and the establishment of the independent Van An Kingdom in the 8th century.
Through this, it educates future generations about the tradition of patriotism and national pride, becoming a beautiful cultural tradition and a source of pride for every citizen of Nam Dan in particular and Nghe An in general.
