A Wild Crow Got Trapped... Tara Did Something Unexpected!

A normal morning at The 10 Acre Woods turned into something we never expected!

While getting ready for a huge family reunion with over 50 relatives, we heard an unusual sound coming from the bird enclosure. A wild crow had somehow found its way inside the aviary, causing the guinea fowl and peacock to sound the alarm. Instead of harming the bird, Tara tried a different approach—calming it down before releasing it in hopes it would remember the experience.

Of course, life on the rescue farm doesn't stop there. We continue our morning feeding routine with the sheep, goats, rabbits, pigs, ducks, chickens and more, check on recovering animals, and prepare for moving 300 hay bales before the family arrives.
