By utilizing calming activities such as spending time in nature, talking with family, and practicing yoga, they regained mental clarity. The narrative emphasizes the importance of finding healthy outlets to break cycles of negative thinking and staying present in the moment.
I have a few stressful days behind me, and not because they were particularly hard to
manage or I had too many tasks that I couldn't handle.
I just was stressed internally, and that little voice that is screaming with anxiety and telling
a lot of things in my head and thoughts are rushing all the time, that voice got louder,
so I thought I would do a few of the things that I know help me calm down.
Being in nature and talking with my mom really helped me gain some clarity,
and I feel way better now, and I'm in a better mood, and yeah, I'm so grateful for my mom.
I'm gonna do some yoga now. I think I mentioned this before, but my favorite is yoga with Adrienne.
I've been doing her practices for a long time now, and I think I'm gonna do this one,
yoga for anxiety and stress, because I think that's just perfect.
It's a beautiful sunny morning, and I'm so rested. I slept like a baby. I overslept a little bit,
but I think it's fine. It was so great, because I woke up in such a good mood.
I made some pancakes for breakfast, which were phenomenal. Usually I don't like sweet breakfast,
but pancakes are an exception, and I read a few pages of Cuddling Street by Savonarola,
which I'm really enjoying. I cannot wait to be done with work and go outside to enjoy this
beautiful weather, and I think we're gonna pick some cherries later in the afternoon,
so I'm excited for that as well.
Today was a good day overall. I feel like I am starting to get there emotionally and mentally,
writing is helping a lot with that, and going on walks. I feel like those two activities help me
clear my mind, and if I can give you advice when you're feeling down or anxious or stressed,
find the things that can help you get out of that cycle of thinking, because sometimes
just thinking about these things won't help. You need some kind of outlet that will clear your mind,
like writing, going on walks, being with your loved ones,
just doing activities that help you be in the moment.
