Solo camping in the worst rain storm I've ever camped in

I'm at my camp spot in Paliza and there's a thunderstorm going through here that's freaking insane. The only thing I was able to set up is I got the awning set up so I was under that. So my my open road awning, I'm gonna give that five stars because man if it wouldn't have been for that thing I would have been screwed. I'm soaked already as you can see. I am, my rain jacket is pretty much soaked and so am I but um hey we're out here. It says it's supposed to rain for another hour. It looks like the sun's trying to peek off in the distance back this way so maybe the storm's passing through and I can actually set up some stuff. It's not a bad site. It's uh everything's reservation only up here now so I had to do a quick reservation. There's a small little trail that leads off from my site, kind of cool. All right, let's check it out. For dinner I'm gonna be making beef breakfast burritos. If my wife was here she'd say just like at home you can make a mess. I do really, I make a mess all the time. Just me and the pine tree My calendar's a blue sky dream. No traffic, no deadlines, no alarm clocks ring. Got a campfire There's joy in the dirt and the smoke in my head, life's simpler and slower with no need to care It's my thing but I call it freedom, not missing a thing Got coffee in my cup, bacon frying on the pan, waking up by the sunrise, wasn't part of nature It just feels so right, gone camping for a weekend or maybe my whole life Really good burritos, really good, cheers Clean up, good coffee. Our trip to Pleasa is almost done. I just came up here for one night mostly. I came up here because I was testing out a product that was sent to me by Mangol. It's a dash cam so check out the install video. That should be up sometime soon here and I was mostly playing around with the apps and how it films. It films in 4k. It's a really nice dash cam. I never liked them but the way people drive today probably not a bad idea to have one so I would definitely recommend them. Sorry if the volume is low. I just woke up and there's people to the left of me, to the right of me and the ones to the right of me partied until three in the morning so I'm just getting my coffee. I'm just trying to be quiet and after my coffee I'm gonna pack up and head on home. If you made it this far in the video thank you for watching to the end. I was really hoping to do more recording but the storm that came in it hit me right when I got here. I spent the first two hours locked down. I was able to get the awning open. That's about it and I was so just doing that. Thank goodness for the new awning. It opened so fast and I just kind of stood here, watched it rain, listened to the thunder and lightning all around me but it is very nice and peaceful this morning so I'm gonna enjoy this. So I'm gonna tap out now and catch you next time.
