The Way Home: Brieanne's Story of Courage

Brieanne’s story is one of courage, healing, and hope.

After years in an abusive relationship, Brieanne made the difficult decision to leave in order to protect herself and her children. With nowhere else to turn, she arrived at Union Rescue Mission seeking safety, stability, and a fresh start.

At Hope Gardens Family Center, Brieanne found more than shelter — she found healing, community, and a renewed relationship with Christ. Today, she is raising two thriving children, pursuing her master’s degree in special education, and dreaming of one day starting a nonprofit to help single mothers of children with special needs.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that even in life’s darkest moments, God never lets go.
