The Hooded Visor Bearer is a small hummingbird that's endemic to the Bahia state in Brazil.
The male has a short straight bill and a black forehead and cheeks that frame bright green
feathers around the beak and throat. He has a narrow white line at the base of the throat
and in the center he has a small patch that can appear blue and gold to a fiery red.
The body is bronzy green and the tail is a reddish copper color. I think that this hummingbird looks
like he's wearing a shirt and tie tucked into a sweater.
