We Found the Most Kid Friendly Hotel in the Dolomites Italy

Go Randy, go! Here we go. ♪ This good life is good, yeah. ♪ ♪ Feeling like, it's good. ♪ We're leaving Lake Garda right now and we're headed to our next destination. This is the spot we've been so excited to go. Why eat this one? It only got. Are you blowing fire? Yeah. Are you a dragon? Yeah. Where did those come from? In my mouth. I have never seen Story so happy. The second we walked into this hotel, you could tell immediately her whole demeanor changed. She loves it here. It is 100% catered towards kids. The second you walk in, you just feel it. And there's kids around, and it's just like there's playgrounds and everything is little for the kids. And there's like a kid's area. It's unreal. This view. We made it. We made it to the San Luis Hotel here in Italy, the Dolomites to be exact. This is insane. Oh my gosh. I can't get over how cool this is. This is stunning. The views are unbelievable. You're just looking at the mountains. Like, I can't even believe a place like this exists. It's so cool. They have like a natural pond you could swim in. They have a bunch of different swimming pools. Like, it's just stunning. They have horses, sheeps, whole farm. They got a little carousel. Llamas. This is a kid's paradise. Truly a kid's and a family paradise. So, we're gonna go explore this place and go check it out. It's so epic so far. Story, is that a pony? Go give her a pet. She's really nice. She's so nice. So, we booked Story a private little horseback riding. Well, not even a horse, pony riding. And she got to groom the pony to start. And then she got to saddle it up. Now she's going to grab her helmet. And then she gets to do her own little horseback ride. It's so cute. She loves this. Rennie, listen, listen. When you get older, when you get older, I'm gonna take you too, okay? Don't worry. Rennie's so happy. Story, you got your helmet on? Yeah, now you're ready. Wow, that's nice. Now, put on my gloves first. Oh, yeah, we gotta put your gloves on. Story, let me see you. Turn around. Scoot back a little bit. You have your vest. Show me your gloves. Show me your helmet. Do not, oh, wow. Are you ready? Yeah. Okay, ask Julia. Say, am I ready? Gentle breeze and golden light. Everything just feels so right. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen. I'm dying out here. So cute. What are you doing? Trying to tell her to go? Yeah. She's going. I'm trying to think of a more beautiful and cooler place than to take a pony ride than the Dolomites in Italy. It's pretty amazing. Story's living her best life. Story's loving this, living her best life. The views are just. We're just on a little walk behind. Unreal. And she looks so happy on her little pony. Rennie, are you happy? Rennie's just happy to be outside. Yes, she is. She just kicks her legs. Every smile, every cheer makes us glad that we are here. Honey likes the grass. Honey eats the grass so much. Yeah, she does. Do you also like the grass? No. You don't eat grass, do you? Only a pony eats grass. Really? I think one of my favorite things of being a parent is watching your kid try something new. Like, nothing brings me more joy than seeing your kid try something new for the first time. You realize they're just living life for the first time too, you know? And they're just experiencing things. What's funny is if there's any kid out there that would try something new, it's that one right there. Story Bell. Story will try anything new. She is our little adventure girl, and I love that about her. So we're walking behind, and I'll show you our view right now. Cutest thing ever. I love how she just talks to everyone too. She's just asking questions. She's so friendly. What's the opposite of shy? What is that word? Story Bell. Yeah, exactly. They taught her like when you go up, you lean forward, and when you go down, you lean back, and it's so cute. She's following all the instructions, and she's doing it. She's very dramatic with it. She's like really leaning back into it. Hey. What are you doing on Daddy's shoulders? I'm the horse. Oh my gosh. She's gonna say mama. Say mama. Mama. Say mama. Dada. Was that Dada? No. That was Dada. Baba. No. She just said Dada. No, she did not. Wow. Both girls said Dada before mama. No, don't say that. Bella wants Rennie to say mama so bad. She already said mama before. One time. Said it one time. Yesterday, did she not say it? Okay, yeah, actually, I think she might have said it tomorrow. Or yesterday. Right there, I heard a little bit of a Dada. No, it said baba. Baba? Say mama. Yesterday, Rennie said mama for the first time. She said it one time. But she did say it, and let the record be straight on that. She did say mama. No rush today, just hearts that roam. Together, anywhere feels like home. She just said mama. I swear, Bella, she just said it. Mama. Say it again. Dada. Close. Dada. Mama. Let it be known, here in the Dolomites, Italy, she said mama. I still can't believe the amount of different things they have here for the kids. They have this big zip line. Over here, they got a full-on soccer, sand soccer field. Got a trampoline over there. They've got a sandbox, a slide, a playhouse. All the animals. A playground down there. It just absolutely blows my mind. It's so cool. There's literally anything and everything for all the kids. I can't see him. Oh, he's in there looking. Hi. We're going on a little family hike. They said this one was pretty easy, but why am I already out of breath? I'm hoping we see some cool animals or something. Rennie, what do you think? You like the camera? Yeah. I love camera. We're excited about this. When people ask us what our favorite place to travel as a family is, because a lot of people want recommendations, like where should I take my family? I'm 100% going to be recommending them this exact hotel in Italy, in the Dolomites. It's just like, there's so much to do for families and it's the most beautiful place. So right now I'm looking out at the pools and today we're going to go check out the pools. We kind of did a little bit last night, scoped them out, and now we're going to go to the outdoor pools. There's an outdoor natural pond, which is so cool. And then they have this massive big outside pool. And then they have this indoor pool with a massive twirly slide that has lights inside of it. It's so cool. And a bunch of little baby slides. It's like a kid wonderland here. And as a parent, I feel like that's just what you want when you're on a family vacation is you want to see your kid thriving. And it's so cute to see Story making friends because there's so many families here and just seeing her enjoying all the pools and all the things that they have specifically dedicated for kids. So I'm just raving about this hotel right now, but I really am passionate about it. I really am loving it. All right, Story and I are going down the big water slide. Okay, you stand right here. Whoa, we're going back! Right now, this slide. I was way underestimating how crazy it was, but it's so much fun. Whoa! Awesome! Guys. This is so much fun! Let's do it again. You're a fast swimmer. I hear something. Whoa, whoa. Whoa! Bubbles! We woke up super early this morning. It's literally 6 a.m. 6.30 now. We woke up so early. And we have to wake up the girls because we want to get to this lake. It's like the famous lake here. I'll pop up the name on the screen. It's Lake Day Briar. I can't say. I don't want to butcher my name. But we're going to try and be some of the first people there to rent canoes. Hopefully. It's an hour drive. Oh, rowboats. Rowboats. It just looks like a fairytale. Everything here is like out of a fairytale, out of a storybook. And so this is like the place that I'm like dying to go to because I just want to see the blue water and like the rowboats and it just looks beautiful. Yeah, it's going to be fun. It's going to be really cool. I think the girls are going to love it too. So I'm excited to go. It's an hour and a half drive. So we got to get out of here so we can go and have this magical morning. It's going to be a fun adventure. I can't wait. I'm excited. It's going to be a good day today. Let's go. Dallin is our dedicated driver here in Italy and the roads are crazy. They're really windy. They're narrow too. At first I was pretty nervous to be driving but we've been going for like an hour now and I feel all right. Like this is, it's pretty chill. There's only one spot where it was like switchbacks where it got a little crazy, but this is crazy. They're pulling up right now and like all parking lots are full. And I did not expect this to be this busy. So we'll see what happens. I mean, at this point you just got to make the most of it but there's a lot of people here and what's in on the internet, it said be here before eight o'clock. We're here at 830 and I'm like 30 minute difference. And this place is full. So I don't know. Hopefully we get a row boat. Hopefully we can get out on the water. I don't really know what's going to happen. You get to pick one. Okay, we just got our tickets for the row boats. I'm so excited. It's just magical here. This is so cool. And we each got to pick a magnet. Ready? Story, you get to pick your magnet. Which one do you want to pick? I want this. I knew you were going to pick that one because that's mommy's favorite too. Row us out there. Wow, this is so magical, oh my gosh. Wow. Yeah, we're going to go out a little far. Hi. Say, we're on the row boat. We're on the row boat. It's pretty cool, huh? Pretty cool. Wow, we're going to start going so fast now. Are you looking? Yeah, I love your binoculars. With your binoculars? Okay, keep looking around. Story's looking for the cave with her binoculars. I think it's over there, story. That way, I think it's over that way. No, this way. I think it's over there a little bit. You see them? Yeah. I'm not very good at rowing. Yep, we're going back right now. So if you're visiting the Dolomites in Italy, number one thing, top 10, or top one place you should go is this lake. I don't even know how to say it. I don't know how to pronounce it, but it's absolutely stunning. And if there's a long line for the boats, stay in line. It went super fast for us. It ended up all working out. We got really nervous because as we were walking up, as we were saying earlier, there's a lot of cars, like all the parking lots are full, but it ended up going really fast. And then they give you 45 minutes out on the boat, which is plenty of time. We cruised around the whole lake. It was pretty incredible. Like the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Okay, today's adventure entails going on, what are they called? Cable cars. And the gondola ride to the very top. So yeah, we're going to take the gondola all the way to the top, and then we're going to go explore. Apparently there's like really cool parks up there, and maybe we'll see some animals, maybe some cows. Restaurants. So we don't really know what we're doing. We're just going to go adventure and see where today's adventure takes us. It's going to be fun. You ready, Rennie? Let's go. Ready, Rennie? So pretty. We made it to the top and there's this really cute little park right here and Story is loving it. I love how they have so many family and kid oriented things. And this is just right at the top. Look at her. This looks incredible. It's coming around this corner. It literally doesn't even look real. Like the scenery, the mountains. Ooh, what is this? A little chairlift. A little chairlift? Should we run that? Yeah. This is absolutely stunning. Story, wow. This looks so beautiful. I really can't handle the cuteness. Oh my goodness. Are you telling me? Tell me, girl. Put your hand down. She's done. She says, I'm done. I want my food now. Is that what you're saying? Food now. So we just got done hiking a little bit and walking around. It was more of like a nice little walk. Now we're going to order some drinks and some food. Yeah, Rennie's hungry. She wants some pizza. I don't know what I was expecting when they were telling us about this coaster, but I was thinking like, cute, like a little ride. No, no, no. It's like an actual roller coaster. I didn't realize that till we got here and I heard people screaming. I'm like, what's that? I look over and there's just like people flying down this massive coaster. Are you nervous? I'm a little nervous. Dallas, we're going to go. Rennie's not going to go. And then I'm going to go. I just got to point something out really quick. 22 is my favorite number. The boat we were on earlier in the lake was boat number 22. We get seated at a table, table number 22. What does this mean? I don't know. If someone out there knows what 22 means, I don't know why I like it so much, but it's just my favorite number. Then let me know. I'm curious. 22. ♪ Tiny footsteps, happy eyes. ♪ ♪ Magic living in disguise. ♪ ♪ Every hug feels like a home. ♪ So Bella and Story just went up and they're going up on this roller coaster. It's definitely a lot faster and a lot scarier than what it looks. And I hope they're okay. Story said she wasn't scared and she was fine, but we'll see how this goes. I am so proud of Story. Like, wow. It was fast. I was not expecting it to be so fast. She was holding on to me. She kept saying, I'm brave. I'm brave, mom. I'm brave. I was like, you're the most brave girl I've ever met. I'm brave. You are the most brave girl in the world. Yeah. Did you like the roller coaster? Yeah. Was it so fun? Yeah. Would you do it again? Yeah. Were you a little scared? No. The Dolomites has become, I think, one of my top favorite places ever. Just because there's so much to do. It's stunning nature everywhere. I'm gonna come back here in the winter. I'm so curious what it's like here in the winter. But I love the memories that we made here and today was definitely one of my favorite days. I don't know, though. The robots are pretty cool.
