How 4ocean Really Treats Their Crew

You may litter with plastic, but you'll never take a beach ass! Today is going to be an incredible day. It's going to be a little different. We normally show you guys cleanup action, all the behind the scenes stuff. But today, we have all of our team members from all of Indonesia, all of Bali, all of Java. We've got the entire team here for a field day. A company culture team building day. Pretty crazy. Look behind me. We've literally got these big buses. We've got everybody out here. We're in Jembrana. All the scooters. The whole squad is here. This is going to be a crazy day. We've got about 130, 150 people roughly. And everybody's here. So today, we're going to be doing all sorts of activities. It's going to be like a field day. We've literally got tug of war. We've got sack races. We've got volleyball. It's going to be wild. And they're like, no, no, no, we're going to rock you guys. They're like, it's U.S. versus each branch. It's like, okay, it's us versus them. We want to compete and make it happen. I was trying to break the ice and start these games right. So we got DQ'd, but we had some fun doing it. That's right, baby. It's all about the fun. Up next is a fierce game of tug-of-war. So while the tug-of-war is happening, we're also doing a bracelet-making competition. So we got the cleanup crews out here making bracelets, too. What's up, guys? Pretty dialed. Sir, please tell us, what do we have out here on the field today? You know, we got our head in the game. We're watching the competition to scout the field. We've been working hard. We've been training. We've been putting in 110 percent. And we're just ready to get out there and give it our all. We're going to leave it all on the field. We're also here with our team manager, our equipment manager, Dom. Dom, how's our jerseys? Are they clean for today? Yeah, jerseys are nice and bleached. Grandma did them last night. Boy, I can tell you one thing. If you ate first, you're last. So we're going to shake and bake today. Shake and bake. You heard it here first on ESPN8, the Ocho. We're out from Bali, Indonesia. It's a bold strategy, Cat. We'll see how it plays out for him. So the net we're looking at is like 5 1⁄2 feet tall. It's one of our booms. Yeah, it's like 5 1⁄2 feet tall. Dom and I are watching him set it. We're going to bring the noise here. One thing I'm not capable of doing back home in Florida because our nets are so damn high. So I'm taking full advantage of this low net today. Indonesia, baby. The court is like half size. It's a small target. Pickleball court. We're sitting here watching the competition for volleyball. It's pretty intimidating. I'm going to be canon with you. We were super confident. We got volleyball all day. And take a look at this. We see stretch. This guy's like 6'8". And we got an absolute machine athlete over here. And we see that. Actually, I don't know about you, but this recruiting class is incredible. They flew him out just for this. They don't clean plastic. They're only here to beat us in volleyball. Oh my god. We're screwed. Yes. They literally made the volleyball net out of plastic that we recovered. Ghost net and our buoys for the volleyball net. Nice work, y'all. So the first couple games we watched, we were like, yeah, we'll be all right, dude. We can hold our own. We'll be all right. And then we saw this team. These guys have five-foot verticals. This is real. Are you ready, guys? Let's get it on. We're up, ladies and gents. This is the team that was absolutely murking everybody. This is going to be interesting. All right. I see you. This is going easy. You better tell him not to hold back. That's what it is. Yeah, that's the way. Nice. That was a good game. Hey, these Java boys, they know how to play ball. They got the hops. They got the sets. They got the spikes. They're killing it. Java's got it. They brought the noise. They brought the heat, baby. We told them, no easy wins. Bring that heat. And they brought it. All right, boys, so what do you think? We just got smoked in volleyball. It was close. Yeah, they let us. There was a few gimmies. Yeah, there were like three or five points that were gimmies. But they smoked us, so now we're doing the triathlon. Ranga, just to confirm, three of us in one kayak, right? Yeah. Are we paddling with our hands? The paddles. Ready. All right, so here's the deal. We're going to hop in the riverboat. The riverboat's going to take us to the other side where all the kayaks are staged. They're going to say start. The three of us got to get in each kayak. We got to get in one kayak, three of us. Three of us in one kayak. Paddle to the boom systems right there. We jump over the booms and swim to this shore and then run up to that flag by the tent over there. It's game time, baby. It's like Hunger Games, but for plastic. We brought out the full four-ocean fleet today. We've got the kayaks, we got the little baby skiffs, and we got the riverboat. And then all the little baby, baby skiffs. It's going down in the hands. Game time, baby. Get ready. I broke the paddle! Go! Go! Let's go! You're pushing water in, Dom! Go! Go! Go! Oh, ----! We're scooping water in, Dom! You're throwing water in the boat! Go! Go! Go! Oh, ----! We're going to have to swim far. Yeah. Guys, we're going down! We're going down! No, scoop out! Scoop out! Paddle out! You're pushing water in the boat! Go! No, just keep paddling! We got it! Oh, ----! Dude! Just get out and swim! That was so bad! Oysters! Not too bad! Yeah! I was also ready. Woo! Woo! That was intense. To make sure me getting water in. Yeah. A lot of weight in the back. So, first paddle. The paddle snaps in half. Each paddle just scooped it into the boat. Maybe we should have been real calm. Woo! Paddle! Paddle! Paddle! Ready? No, no, no! Yeah! Woo! All right, so that was pillow fighting here in Bali. Nice work, buddy. Nice work. They cut one in half and made a new one. Tony! Tony! Tony! Tony! All right, as you step into the arena, Tony, what thoughts are racing through your head? They don't really want to get wet. And you just gotta win. That's all it is. It's as simple as that. They're getting hustled because he even gave me his shoes. He really wants this. You got this, buddy. All right, Tony. Stay strong. Keep the head in the game. You got this. You ready? One, two, three, four. Yes! All right, Tony. Here you go. This is the real deal. This is for all the marbles. You got one against Mr. Dom. So the rules are supposed to be no second hands on the pole. Okay. And then your legs are supposed to stay crossed. Now, when you're hucking, sometimes they come apart, but you're supposed to stay legs crossed. And hands up. No head. No head. No hitting the head. No hitting the head. Okay, so shoulders down. Don't put your second hand on. Try to keep your feet crossed. Oh, I gotta get close to you. You'll probably end up with legs coming uncrossed. Should we stand up? Good. Y'all ready? Ready. Go! Right now, we have Alex Schultz versus Josh Lieberman in the final finale of the Bamboo Pillow Contest here in Bali, Indonesia. Josh! Come on, Josh! Yeah! I've been in a lot of pillow fights, but I gotta tell you, that was probably the best pillow fight I've ever been in. That was amazing. That was super fun. We got this guy in it. I was trying to get out of it, to be honest with you. And then I started doing it, and I was like, oh, this is pretty fun right here. Dude, it gets you. The water feels great. Yeah, it gets you. Now, I think we're gonna grab some lunch. Do a big team lunch with everybody. Best days I've ever had in 4ocean. Yeah? Yeah, because you're just, you cannot build this type of camaraderie with the team without doing something just like this. I know. And you're basically putting everybody in a pressure cooker. We're laughing, we're letting our guard down, we're having fun. This was amazing. You fly halfway around the globe to be friends with 150 people. Oh, yeah. Good friends. This is why we do this. I don't know about you guys, but I flew halfway around the world to whoop some butt in some pillow fight. I was just kidding. Just kidding, just kidding. Just like Tony said, that was an incredible time to spend with the team. To be able to get out here, spend the week, two weeks, almost three weeks, cleaning with them in the field. That's one thing, right? Shoulder to shoulder cleaning as one team. But then to do stuff like this, volleyball, tug of war, pillow fight. It's incredible. And now we're spending time sharing a meal with everybody. So we've got the whole spread out. We're all eating here right on the beach. This was the beach that we cleaned the other day. So we got a nice clean beach. What do we got for the spread, boys? Looking good? Big spread. Big spread, big spread. Looking good. What you got, boys? Is this a cake? Look at this cake. I really miss my wife and my son. I'm excited that we had this time to spend with the team, but also I'm excited to be heading home. We just had a fantastic lunch, and now it's time for prizes.
