Trump in press dinner speech: 'I learned, don't be sarcastic'; offers 'scoop' of 2028 reelection bid

President Trump took aim at the press, former President Biden and Secretary of Health and Human Service Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the White House Correspondents’ Association’s (WHCA) dinner Friday evening.

Toward the end of his speech, Trump made what seemed to be a sarcastic announcement, offering “somewhat of a scoop” that he would run for another term in office. The president then donned a MAGA-style hat saying “Trump 2028.”
