What's up y'all? Today I want to talk about the items in a home that scream luxury. Now before
we get into it, I promise you that this list isn't about price or how expensive an item even is. It's
about how that particular item exists within a space and how people experience that item when
they're present in your space. So today I'm going to break down how each of these items scream
luxury in your space and how you should implement them. Links to all items will be down in the
description and without further ado, let's jump into it. First up is if you walk into a home and
you see accent chairs. Instantly you know this is a home put together with intention. And see outside
of accent chairs being one of those decor items that makes the space feel more luxurious and
elevated, they also serve as very comfortable seating. As long as you make a good accent
chair selection. Now whether they're in your living room, bedroom, office, or even tucked
into a corner somewhere like I have in my bedroom, a well-placed accent chair would add character and
sophistication to any space. Trust me when I tell you when people walk into a room and see a
beautiful accent chair that perfectly complements the space, they immediately think, wow this is
quite nice. Alright next, an item that screams luxury in the home is when you have mounted TVs
with hidden or organized cords. Now listen, this might be one of the easiest luxury upgrades you
can make in the home and it doesn't have to cost you a fortune at all. Nothing will take away from
a clean aesthetic faster than a bunch of cables hanging down underneath the television. Mounted
TVs instantly make a room feel cleaner, more modern, and more luxurious. And once you hide
those cords, it creates that luxury custom build that you normally see in luxury condos, model home
stage for real estate, and high-end hotels. It's one of those small details that make a huge
difference. And if you can't completely hide the cords, then you can just do like I did and get
some cord concealers from Home Depot that will keep them organized and flush to the wall. Number
three is a surround sound system. I'm talking Sonos, Bose, Sony, Sennheiser, Harman Kardon, JBL,
etc. etc. If a home has surround sound, you know they are not playing and it's some serious luxury
going on inside of there. There is nothing and I mean nothing that elevates a listening experience,
an at-home movie night, or a new album that just released than quality surround sound. I mean once
you have it set up, you have it specifically paired with the perfect TV, I mean you can kiss
the movie theaters goodbye because you got the movie theaters right at home. Once you experience
that rich immersive sound filling up your living room or bedroom, it completely changes your life
in a very positive way. And it's hard to go back to not having it honestly. Coming in at number four
of things that scream luxury in the home are luxury room sprays, hand lotion, and hand soaps.
This is one of my favorite categories because it's one of the first things that people will
experience when visiting your home. Like think about it, someone walks into your place and
immediately smells something incredible. Then they go wash their hands after using the bathroom and
there is a luxury soap or lotion sitting in there. It just creates this inviting and memorable
experience. A couple brands I personally love are Aesop, Levant Collective, Viredo, Le Labo, and
anything with warm woody notes like Santa, Vetiver, or Palo Santo. Little details like this go a long
way when it comes to making your home feel and look luxurious. Number five is a statement coffee
table. Man, the right coffee table that stands out will naturally become the centerpiece of the living
room. It becomes the glue almost, meaning it makes everything around just sort of work. And when I
say statement coffee table, I don't necessarily mean expensive. I mean something with character.
Maybe it's a unique shape, an interesting material, or a design that immediately catches your
attention. Pair it with a couple books, candles, or decor pieces and suddenly your entire living
room feels not only more luxurious, but more personal to you and your personal taste. All
If there's one thing I've learned over the years is that bigger artwork almost always makes a
bigger impact. Small pieces can sometimes feel lost on the wall, but large-scale artwork commands
attention. It fills space beautifully and gives a room a custom designer feel. Whether it's photography,
abstract art, black and white portraits, or something colorful, large artwork creates that
wow factor. And honestly, some of the most luxurious homes I've seen all have that one
thing in common. They're not afraid to go big with the artwork. And one more thing, like I've said
before, it doesn't have to be expensive. Just carefully curate it by yourself to match the room
and help further inject your personality into whatever room the artwork is in. Number seven is
not just real plants, but using real plants as decor items. This is a simple one, but it works
every single time. And I know I've said this so many times, but real plants really do breathe
life into any space. They add texture, color, and warmth while making a home feel more inviting and
lived in. And they often soften a room, especially if you have a lot of modern furniture, wood finishes,
or darker colors. Whether it's a large olive tree, a fiddle leaf fig, or a few smaller plants
throughout the home, greenery instantly makes a space feel more expensive and thoughtfully designed.
And last but not least, muted, cozy, relaxing lighting. This one right here might be the most
important item on this entire list because luxury lighting isn't about brightness, it's about
atmosphere. You got to get away from those harsh overhead lights and start layering your lighting.
Floor lamps, table lamps, accent lighting, warm light bulbs, dimmable lighting, all of it. It's nothing
like coming home after being out all day and walking into a space that immediately feels calm
and relaxing. The right lighting can completely transform how a room feels and honestly might be
the biggest luxury upgrade you can make without spending a fortune. And there you have it guys,
those are eight items that will make any home instantly scream luxury. If you found this video
