Uh, what about what we got going on in Philly tonight?
Uh, Will Warren was supposed to start.
Schlittler is starting instead, going up against Lozardo.
I believe Philadelphia has won his last 10 starts, they have won the game.
And he has been underrated, I think, Tom.
Wheeler, I get it.
You know, a lot of other conversations surrounding the Phillies.
Lozardo is about as steady as it gets.
Do we trust either lineup against these front-end starters?
That's a really tough question, and you know, Lozardo early in the year was terrible.
And you know, I remember tweeting about him at some point that his underlying metrics
were just way, way too good for the results that he was giving up, because he was terrible
to start the year.
And he finally turned the corner, you know, water-fined his level, he regressed to where
he should be, and he's been downright great.
I think the easy answer is to look at first five under.
I don't have any action on this game at all, but if someone's looking, okay, Schlittler,
A.L.
Cy Young, potential.
Lozardo, who's been great in his own right behind Wheeler, and Chris Hance, as I've said,
but an under to start wouldn't surprise me.
I see this game as a bit of a coin flip.
I would not play the money line on either side.
That's just me.
Yeah, they're four this morning, and now, of course, three and a half across the board.
It feels like 1-0 heading into the sixth, right?
1-1, something along those lines there, Tom.
I don't see either guy giving up a lot, and it's not as if Philadelphia has been crushing
that side anyway, anytime soon.
In fact, Philadelphia, over the last two weeks, hitting 2-0-4 against right-handed pitching
here, 27th in Major League Baseball.
Yankees, middle of the road, 14th against lefties, but Yankees going to score a million
runs off of a top-end starter from the left-hand side?
I don't think that's possible.
Full game, under as well, seven and a half, or do we give the edge to the Yankees' bullpen,
and maybe the Yankees we should be looking at?
I would give the edge to the Yankees' bullpen slightly.
It's not by much.
The under seven and a half is interesting, and frankly, the more I think about this on
the spot, I may play this series this weekend like a zigzag, just if you're on one side
one, then if we have a game tomorrow, hotter temperatures, maybe there's some wind tomorrow,
and go from there, but I think that could be a way to play this series, and also the
Arizona-Washington series.
Like I said, I'm on Washington tonight, but Arizona's just as good to be on the side tomorrow,
especially if we get them that plus money, because Griffin's going to be starting tomorrow
for the Nats.
