My New Vanity Is Ready! Let's Do My Everyday Summer Makeup

Today I took you home with me because I really wanted to show you this beautiful vanity. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. And here she is. The beauty. The stylish. I wanted to introduce you to my new vanity station. How gorgeous is she? Let me give you a little glimpse because I just got it. It's not decorated yet. We don't have the best light so Alex put on this very strong light in our guest bedroom. So I was thinking this could be a desk when it's closed. But when it's opened it looks like this. Isn't she gorgeous? I cannot wait to fill it in with all my favorite products. However I need to get some containers that will fit inside. This is something that I did not think before I should have because it's really tough to find containers here. This is what it looks like opened. Hello. And I have also more storage right here. I have three drawers on one side, three drawers on the other side. I think this is going to be a really really beautiful piece of furniture no matter where we're going to move. This is done by Marbera. It was custom made and we designed it back in January. Andrea Ali here. I'm a celebrity makeup artist. I'm based in Paris and here is where beauty meets taste, technique and everything generally exceptional. I can tell you that it's very heavy. I don't know how we're going to move it in the other room where it was actually planned to have it. So yeah let's see. Anyway I want to get ready with you. I want to chit chat, tell you what's going on, talk about makeup and everything beauty. But first I gotta do something with my hair. I haven't washed it in a few days. So I think I'm going to wear a scarf because honestly I have no time to wash my hair and I really need to go in about an hour. I have my first meeting. So I'm just gonna put a scarf on. Okay I've changed. This is gonna be my outfit for the day. It's very hot in Paris. We're gonna have 35 degrees today and yeah I don't know what to wear in this heat. I cannot think. I cannot work. I am always so tired during this heat. Let me show you the scarf that I'm gonna put on my head. Also guys I am so sorry about the noise in the background. You probably can hear it. I cannot stand the constructions that are happening for over a year and a half. We moved in this apartment mid-March 2025. It hasn't been a day where the constructions were not like super super loud. I just hope it's gonna end soon. So I'm sorry about the noise. Okay hopefully you can still hear me. I like to wear a scarf on my head whenever my hair is not looking great. I never really have oily scalp but the problem is that it gets like flat here. It has volume here. Like I have no time to style it. Therefore we're just going to put the scarf on. Like this is just a piece of fabric I got from Massimo Dutti but I really liked the color. I think it's cute for summer. And here's how I wear it. The knot at the back pulling all the hair out and now I just pull it from the corner. Give me a second. I know it looks bad. Just give me a second. Okay there we go. Now let's decorate a little bit. I know you're gonna be saying like oh you look better without the scarf. It's because I wear no makeup. I'm so particular with my hair. If it doesn't look good I rather just attach it or wear something. Ever since this whole scarfy scarf trend is on I'm like oh my god this is so helpful for the days when you don't feel like washing your hair. These earrings I think they're probably from Heaven Mayhem. I'm gonna put on my wedding ring which I sometimes forget to put on and then my watch. I love this watch. It's the only watch that I have so I wear it every day. This is from Cartier. Guys how beautiful is this ring? Look at the details here. This is from a brand called Helinga. I think you saw this ring before. It looks like this. How gorgeous is it? Also you've probably noticed that I've cut my I've had my nails cut short because I was just so over long nails. I wish I were that type of person that only has one style when it comes to like nails but I'm just not that. I'm going to show you something so cool. You're gonna love it. Here's how you can create your perfect custom tinted moisturizer. So you take your sunscreen or it can be your moisturizer but since sunscreen it's usually the last step that we apply on the skin I want you to try this. You have your sunscreen. I mean I love this one from Summer Fridays. It dries down to like a semi matte finish. It's so beautiful especially for summer and then you're gonna get the custom drops from Decipher. Now Decipher is a brand where you can create your custom foundation or your custom drops and I can tell you the difference. So the custom foundation is obviously foundation and why it's custom because you choose your own finish. You choose your own coverage and they perfectly match your skin. The only very important thing when you go to Decipher and get your custom foundation or drops is to take the picture in natural light with no makeup on and this is exactly what you can do with the drops. You're going to go on the website upload a picture of you in natural light. Make sure you're in front of a big window. No like direct sunlight and then you're going to get the custom drops at your doorstep and here's how you can create your custom tinted moisturizer which is fantastic. I think it's so great. So your sunscreen. Now I've already applied sunscreen but it's not gonna hurt to apply a second time. Now you're gonna mix your custom drops. Never apply your custom drops directly on your skin because this is pure pigment guys. It's you're gonna put on a few drops. Let's say up to like five drops. You mix it and you're going to get your custom tinted moisturizer. Now obviously you could customize the coverage of this product. I have the drops exactly my skin tone which is much lighter than my body and then I did a new order for the custom drops when I was wearing self-tan on my face. So the color that I got now it matches my body not my face and let me show you. You could totally use a brush or your fingers whatever you prefer. Now I like to apply it because it's sunscreen the base. Now I like to really work it into the skin. I apply it just like I regularly apply my sunscreen a little bit under my eyes as just everywhere I would apply sunscreen. Now you can see it matches perfectly with my body and it's such a nice finish and if you want to have even less coverage you know just do less drops. I love a little bit more coverage and then I make sure that I apply it a little bit down the jawline. Always apply whatever product you're using a little bit down the jawline so you don't have that mark. No matter how good the foundation match is it will always be a little bit of a difference. You also want to push the foundation or tinted moisturizer wherever you're using. Push it very very close to that hairline especially if you're like me and you're using a foundation that is darker than your actual skin tone then you want to make sure there's no skin peeking. Oh how beautiful this is and I it feels like nothing. When I take a q-tip I just remove any product I have on my lips just visually it just annoys me. Now I'm going to use concealer. I have to tell you that the past I would say three months I see a huge change in my skin and I think I talked about it in my previous video that I think I'm going through perimenopause and I'm starting to see a lot of changes and one of the changes that is very very noticeable is around my eyes the dryness of my mouth the the dryness of the skin around my eyes. I'm also having I just did another blood test and my iron levels are very very low. I'm taking iron supplements but I think they're not working. In terms of makeup I've noticed that the concealer that works the best during this transition time is this Sisley. Now this is called Phytocern Eclat and it's the most hydrating you could possibly use. If you guys have tried a concealer that is very hydrating please let me know your recommendations. But I've tried quite a few you know I have like over 30 brands of concealer in my studio and I've tried them all. I can tell you that this is really really good. Now when you buy this concealer it comes with a brush. I don't have the brush anymore I think it's somewhere in the studio. Another thing that I love about this is that it's very pleasant because this tip I think this is metal or something because it's very very cold all the time. One thing to remember about this product is that a little goes a long way and you're going to have this concealer for like a year at least. You have a lot of product. Yes it's expensive but also you will have a lot of product in it so don't use a lot. Be stingy with this product because it's really unnecessary for you to use too much. Also I've noticed I don't know what's happening here but it's like I'm losing fat on my eyes. It's so weird. So a little bit of concealer right here to remove the redness. The best way to get this concealer on your skin is with your fingers. Guys you just need to trust me on this one. As a makeup artist brushes are the extension of my right hand. However there are certain products that will look better when you apply them with your fingers. Either your fingers or you use sponges like hydrophilic sponges like the beauty blender for example. Now why does it work better with the fingers? Because I find that since this is so hydrating when you're using a brush the brush kind of takes too much of this product on where with the fingers I feel like it becomes so beautiful and seamless under your eyes. Yes I do take my time. If I don't set my concealer with powder two things can happen. Not can. Will happen. One it will crease but it will crease in a way that it will look like I have more wrinkles. And second it's going to move. I've strategically placed more concealer wherever where my darkness is which is right here. If I don't set it it's going to move because there's so much movement. So I know that powder is something that a lot of people just avoid. But when it comes to especially this concealer I find that it absolutely needs powder. I'm going to take this Huda Beauty take a little bit of powder in my palm and then with my powder puff I start with the sides of the nose like so. So the most of the powder doesn't go directly under the eyes. If it makes any sense then I make sure concealer is not creased. Then I immediately set it with powder. Now I can move on with the rest of my makeup. I've been loving this Morphe. This is Bronze and Tone Duo. This shade for me it's so good. Also along with this amazing brush. I think this is a collaboration with Makeup by Ariel. Look at this color. This is such a good color. So you've got kind of like the Patrick style right. You've got the cream and then the powder. But I did not know how affordable this is. This is actually I mean it's not cheap but it's it's definitely more affordable than other options that are on the market. I like to apply the bronzer high on the cheeks like so. A little bit on the brow bone. Then I will use a little bit on the forehead. And again I make sure that it's really blended on the hairline. Hope I didn't touch the scars. And of course a little bit on the nose. Then with the other side of the brush I take the powder bronzer and I just go over a little bit. First it will add more color. It will tame a little bit the shine because this is a very hydrating this one a very hydrating product. It will tame a little bit the shine and it will make it last. Now in the makeup world especially if you're doing like something that you you want to last and to look great in pictures and I feel like these days we want to look great in the picture that we take with our friend having a drink after work you know. So if you want that makeup to look great on you you have to mix creams and powders in a very very thin layer. This is the best way to have your makeup last all day, look great in pictures, perform exceptionally for you. Okay this light is not the best. This light is not the best. There are a lot of like gray shadows on my face but I feel like this is this is not giving justice. This is the blush from Violette de Fer. It's called Plume Blush and imagine if you have ever tried the Bisou Bomb from Violette. Imagine a Bisou Bomb but in a blush form. I'm using the shade Rose Fumé and this is the that typical pink shade that looks good on so many people. I find that this is this could be like your everyday shade but they have such a beautiful variety of colors. I'm going to take it with a small brush. They have a kabuki brush with this but I find it it's way too big for my face. I always take the product on my hand just to see what it does and I start slowly and build. This is a beautiful beautiful color and if you have large pores in this area I think you're going to appreciate this product because it has a blurring finish a little bit down the bridge of the nose for that youthful look. Depending on who's watching this scarf it's either going to look like your grandma or it's going to look like oh my god you look so young. In my culture this is the type of scarf that women like older women would wear going to the church. It's very eastern European vibe. Take my blush on my brow bone. I think this color is so beautiful. Again if you're anywhere from fair to medium skin tone this would work for you and this could be like your everyday cheek. I finished all my eyebrow pencils. You know I love Anastasia Beverly Hills and that's what I use most of the time and it's the product believe it or not that I finish the most and I repurchase the most because for me Anastasia is the truly the queen when it comes to the eyebrows. So today I'm going to use the Brow Powder Duo which never really finishes like you will have this for years if you get it and I'm using the shade taupe with 7B brush which is the best brush if you want to use powder in your eyebrows. I said this before powder is the most natural product you could use for your eyebrows and it's the most forgiving as well. I use the darker color in the places where I don't have hairs where my eyebrows are kind of missing. We're trying to fill in any gap and with the lighter shade I'm going to go in between just to create that nice shadow effect. Super important when you're doing your eyebrows to brush them through so that the product really blends in the body. Then I'll take a clear brow gel. This is from a brand called Nadina Jane. She's an actress. I think she's from Dubai if I'm not mistaken or Lebanon and she has her own makeup brand. She discovered me on Instagram and then she started to send me PR and some of the products are really good. I know that for some of you it's hard to get them. This is very similar with brow freeze gel from Anastasia. Charlotte Tilbury came out with cream eyeshadow sticks. Now I have a few shades I'm going to show you. Oh my god it's 10 30. When did the time fly? Okay this is a nice color. Exaggerize Easy Eyeshadow Stick Mink Sculpt and then we have Desert Sculpt. Too dark for me. And then we have this bronzy shade which is Amber Haze. I love love a nice shimmery shade because it will never be as intense as a matte one. So I think I'm going to go with this one. Apply it at the base of the lashes. I'm gonna take a smaller brush just to diffuse this. Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh I should have known. Should have known. Okay this is the type of product that won't give you even more than like five seconds to blend. I will get it on the lower lash line as well just to hug the eye. And notice how I've applied it a little bit on the waterline. Just a tiny little bit. But as I smudge it it creates this super super natural smoky effect right. I love that. I used to just not wear anything on my eyes and I found that now I have so much I take so much pleasure from doing my eye makeup because it just makes me look better. Just a bit of shadow right there but it's important to blend it. I'm gonna add a little bit more here. Next is mascara and I'm gonna use this one from Sisley. This has a very interesting brush. It's more like a comb for your lashes and what I really like with this product is that you can place the mascara very very close to the base of the lashes. So it looks like almost like you're wearing a very thin eyeliner. I won't even go too much on the length. I'm just gonna keep it very much at the base. I wish I had a brown mascara with me. I'm gonna be using the new lip liner from YSL and the new lipstick. I was very skeptical about these two products but I wow this lip liner will not budge. Very very similar with Fenty Beauty. If you guys have ever tried Fenty Beauty lip liner it's very similar with that. I like to overline always and I like to overline on the cupid's bow but not on the sides because it just it doesn't look good on me and in my opinion on anyone but each with their own. I've recently did Botox and I usually do Botox like here very high on the forehead because I have a lot of expression on my forehead and I typically do two points here so it's less wrinkles. In the past I would do like one two three but now I asked my injector to not do the third one because it kind of blocks the movement of my cheeks and the last time I went to see this injector it was my very first time with him because I would have to say it's hard to find someone that's good in Paris. Either my eyebrows are like this or they're like completely straight or it's like disaster one eyebrow is like this one is like this. I had really really bad experiences with Botox that's why for many years I didn't even I didn't even do it right after especially right after I gave birth and now I've started to redo it I mean guys I'm gonna be 41 this year so I feel like Botox is one of those things that I really love the result but not right after I mean I've just done it like a week ago so it's super I feel like a little bit stiff. I've never tried Botox other than here which I feel like now I'm good but the last time I went he was like should I do just two points of Botox on your lips because I can see that you're you're starting to have wrinkles and this is the one thing that I hate when going to the doctor. Part of me likes to be told okay maybe you should do this but for example I've never noticed that I have wrinkles on my top lip. I've never noticed guys. I don't know if I am type of person that thinks looks great all the time but I've never I don't notice some of the things that maybe other people do and I let him do one two points here and I have a hard time doing this. I feel like the movement is a little off on my top lip. Don't get me started. You did not notice until I told you. Don't even get me started. Come on. They were like too tiny. Will I do it again? I don't think so. I don't think I have wrinkles on my top lip. Maybe one like maybe here but it's you wouldn't even consider it a wrinkle right? Anyway I love this new injector that I've just discovered. I'm never going to share any names because it is forbidden. Isn't this lip liner so good? In the shade 102. Love this color so much and now the lipstick. The lipstick is in the shade 44. At first I was skeptical about the color but I really like it. This stays very good on my lips. It's a moussey texture. Very light but it doesn't dry the lip like it's matte but it does not dry out your lips and you will find this color in everything they do. The lipstick, the blush, the liquid blush, the powder blush. The shade 44 they call it Nude Lavaniere. It's that pink that looks good on everyone. A little bit of powder here. Guys I gotta tell you a story. The other day I came back home from studio. I was like wearing full face of makeup and whenever I wear foundation I have this wrinkle right here which you can see it. This one. And it becomes unfortunately more visible with age and especially when I'm wearing makeup because foundation sort of sets in that line. There's nothing you can do. So I get home and my my son is like mom you you have something in there. He's trying to like clean my face. I'm like what is it? And I look in the mirror I see nothing and he's like no no no you have like a like a hair. I can't take it off. The wrinkle. I had something on my face. He doesn't understand it yet. I found out so cute. Okay guys I need to go. Oh my god it's it's 10 45. I have to run. My appointment is at 11 but luckily for me it's only five minutes away. I'm gonna use this Yummy Skin Liquid Blurring Balm. Now everybody says that this is amazing for a good reason. This truly is amazing. It's going to give you that blurry effect on the skin and it's not going to dry out your skin which is very important. And my fragrance I love I'm loving this blur vanilla skin. Oh wow it's the fragrance. Oh god I hope I don't have one of those crises. Sometimes I have like a sneezing crisis. Is everything okay? Yes. Okay guys I gotta go.
